The Peninsula Paris. “Dear Family! Here are some impressions from our nice hotel. It is located very central between the Tour Eiffel and the Arc de Triomphe. We always have breakfast in the Café Kléber and enjoy afternoon cocktails on the terrace. Lots of love from Paris, Vicky“ – just kidding.
I wish we were, but 900€+ /night is a tiny bit over our budget, even though that would include a private driver in a Mini or Rolls Royce for a shopping tour or whatever destination you want. The Peninsula Paris opened on August 1st after 5 years of renovations. The Asian/French mix is noticeable in the whole hotel. Next to the café facing the street side there is another Cantonese restaurant and a French restaurant/bar on the roof terrace. The good thing is that it is not only reserved for hotel guests and you can have some afternoon-tea or evening cocktails. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to see any hotel rooms as they were already fully booked out.

More of my life in Paris will be up here soon – à bientôt!
