Today I show you a few of my short-trip travel essentials. Funnily, I travel always pretty light, when I’m on my own while I have so much more stuff with me when travelling with my man. “Do you always have to bring so much stuff?” – I guess you know that. But travelling light is not so easy. At least I can limit my beauty stuff to a few products.

CAMERA – since I have my Olympus PEN E-PL7 I leave my heavy DSLR at home. The 17mm 1.8f and 45mm 1.8f are more than satisfying for a few travel snapshots.EXTERNAL BATTERY – the last time I was in Berlin I charged my phone three times in a day. My phone can’t without the external battery anymore. I chose the one from Ravpower that you can charge up to four times.

PAJAMA – I always forgot to bring one. Currently, my favorite ones are from Princesse Tam Tam as they have so many cute pajamas.

BEAUTY – when I’m travelling I use a lot more make-up products than in daily life. When you’re on the go the make-up needs to last as long as possible – primers are a must! I’ll bring a few basics such as a mascara from Clinique, eyeshadow palette from Smashbox, eye shadow primer from Urban Decay. Moreover, a little bottle of perfume – small testers are also great while travelling. Hotels always provide shower gel and shampoos nonetheless I bring a few probes.

TRAVEL IRON – how many times I had something that wasn’t ironed and looked awful. This travel iron is an early heirloom from my mom which she used on travels when she was about my age. This little one from Rowenta is really helpful and expect the design nothing has changed much.

ON THE GO – while I am out during the day I try to leave my big bag at home and use a small one where the most crucial things like credit card, iPhone, ID and little beauty stuff fits. A camera can also be worn around the shoulder!

Wish you a wonderful day!

So ganz leicht reisen geht dann doch nie.
