Barcelona Food Guide. And here comes the last entry from Barcelona for this time. During our trip we had the pleasure to try a few new restaurants. Some of them were already on my list and other completely new to me. Find my first Barcelona Food Guide here.

Barcelona Food Guide | Lunch at Batuar at Cotton House Hotel

I’d found the Cotton House Hotel on Instagram and we wanted to go there last time. Luckily the team of La Roca Village brought us to the charming restaurant Batuar for lunch. While they offer dishes à la carte for lunch too you can also have a degustation menu for 28€. This includes 3 courses and a glass of wine included. In summer I recommend to stay inside. On the terrace it is super hot and we were melting away in the heat.

Barcelona Food Guide | Tapas at El National

El National is definitely a must too on your next visit. It’s a huge hall with different areas – la taperia, la braseria, the oysters area, beer or wine counter and much more. However, at most of the restaurants a lot of people are queuing. Therefore, booking a table beforehand is to recommend. We had a faboulous dinner at La Taperia, where everything was so good.

Definitely go for the Arroz Negro – black rice (6,50€), paella mixta (6,50€) and the Razor Clams San Sebastian Style (7,50€)! Yum!

El Nacional
Passeig de Gràcia, 24 Bis, 08007 Barcelona
tapas cost between 4 – 10€

Barcelona Food Guide | Brunch at Libertine at Casa Bonay

The Casa Bonay Hotel has recently reopened their bar/restaurant Libertine. Moreover, they serve breakfast not only to their hotel guests. In fact, hotel guests must feel in food heaven each day when they can order as much as they want from the menu. Being a big group we got to taste a lot of different dishes. I think everybody of us ordered at least three (not that we were so starving but it was simply way too good)

I highly recommend to order the black rice pudding (3,50€), quinoa bircher (5,20€), the open faced sandwich (8,00€) or a poké bowl (7,00€).

Libertine at Casa Bonay
Gran Via de Les Corts Catalanes 700, 08010 Barcelona
SU-MO-TUE-WED: 7am – 2am
THU-FRI-SA: 7am – 3am

prices ranging from 3-12€
