My TRAVEL bucket list for 2017

Travel-bucket list. My travel bucket list for this year was harder to pick than I thought. Last year I managed to cross off so many point off my bucket list, which I’d never thought before – 4/10 is not so bad. I crossed off Barcelona (which I will definitely head to another time this year), Lisbon, Marrakech and was for the first time in Croatia (where I’ll definitely need to go another time this year). I also had Tokyo on my list, which I’ll tick off next week. I can’t wait!

Here are my travel bucket list ideas for this year:

travel bucket list Heli-Ski in Canada

Since watching Jon Olsson Vlogs I just want to go skiing every day. Laax was so great and we had so much powder thus heli-skiing is definitely on my wishlist now. If it wasn’t so expensive! And skiing in Japan is also on my list now!

I’ll probably fly to Thailand for the first time in April and I can’t wait. (ok, now the secret is already out, ooops).

travel bucket list Brazil

A friend of mine lived there for quite a bit. Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo look so beautiful. However, I also want to go to the inland.

Even though, I was born in Italy I’ve never been to Sicily before. But I always said that I can do Europe when I’m old and I don’t want to fly again.

You can also have little travel bucket points in your own home, can’t you? I got a lot into hiking and the Seven Lake Hike is definitely high on my list.

I had to add one or two places in Europe two. A little weekend getaway is always great. Oslo has so much to offer in architecture, art and culinary. Right now it is probably a little bit too cold but I’ll need to check flights for spring.

I wanted to go to California now in early spring but my plans have changed and other travels came in between. I’ll try to postpone that to autumn as soon as it gets cold here.

Amandine has just been in Oman and the pictures looked so nice. Also, being such a Indiana Jones fan, some of the film scenes were shot there. I imagine the land to be absolutely stunning and so authentic.

Another hot destination, where the sun shines 24/7. Cape Town and Johannesburg look so nice and everything is so instagramable there. Of course, I want to do glamping and a safari.

Another European city which I’ll visit in June together with Amandine. Athens is super interesting historically and architecturally. One of the biggest art fares takes place in Athens this year – the Documenta, which I can’t miss. Moreover, I’m such a Greece fan and I can’t wait to eat gyros and Greek salad all day long!

Now let’s see what will come up this year. I’m super excited!
