Birthday gifts. It’s already nearly a month since my birthday and I always post my birthday wishlist unconspiciously up here on the blog. This year there were some more expensive things on my list. In general, I’m satisfied with everything I have and don’t really crave anything. My camera equipment is perfectly well-equipped (whereas there is one more lens on my wishlist). My tech objects are all working perfectly and when it comes to clothing and shoes I’m super picky. As you can see I’m giving my family and friends quite a hard time. However, they did a great job and spoiled me rotten. Thanks again at this point!

Birthday gifts Bose Quietcomfort 35, jewelry & more

A good pair of headphones had been on my list ever since I lost mine during my bachelor thesis. My Sudio Sweden in-ear phones are still working perfectly but I was craving a big, noise cancelling version for traveling and working. Also, I was going to buy the new iPhone anyways which is why I wanted to get bluetooth ones. Moreover, cables are super annyoing when travelling or working out. My boyfriend answered my prays and got the Bose Quietcomfort 35 for me. If you remember my wishlist I’d put the Sennheiser on my list but they didn’t convince me when I tried them in the stores. Bose has a great sound quality and I am over the moon about these headphones. I know they’re super expensive but I’ve been using them nearly every day since – cost per use.

My best friend got me this cute butterfly-bracelet for my birthday and graduation. I’ve been always wearing it since I got it. I absolutely love jewelry with a meaning: free like a butterfly.

Birthday gifts everything about cooking

I’m a passionate cook and I love to cook for my friends. Cooking for my own is not so pleasant and moreover it is always hard to estimate portions when shopping. When it comes to cooking the Italian part of me emerges. I love to cook Italian dishes and if I do so from the scratch. Meaning that pasta, raviolis, tortellinis and more will be handmade. My friend got me this great ravioli-plate which will ease my cooking a lot. Can’t wait to try it.

I always thought that cookbooks were absolute waste of money because you’ll find great recipes on the internet anyways. Pinterest is still one of my biggest inpirational source but cookbooks are way prettier. Not to mention all the fond introduction texts, high quality photos and recipes. I was therefore all the more delighted to receive the Jerusalem – the cookbook from Ottolenghi & Tamimi. The book is already lying on my night stand and waiting to be marked with post-its. Moreover, my aunt got me the cookbook of Sitzwohl, an Austrian gourmet restaurant.

Birthday gifts Prints, photos and more DIY

Last but not least I’d like to share with you this gorgeous screen print a friend of mine made me. She’s so into DIY right now and handmade gifts are indeed lovely. The Maggie-fish are fitting perfectly in my kitchen next to the Mojito and Bon Appetit-poster.

I hope you liked this article and maybe you’ll get a little bit inspired for your next birthday gifts.

Have a wonderful day!
