Travel essentials. You can imagine how excited I am for this upcoming trip. A dream come true. Flying to Japan has been high on my list for years now! In fact, I’ll be sitting on the plane in a couple of hours. The flight is going to be a 12 hours direct flight to Tokyo and the next morning we are going to fly down to Okinawa for five days. It’s going to be my longest flight ever! Hopefully I’ll get some sleep on the plane (this reminds me to get some sleeping pills or anything else at the pharmacy). In all my excitement I made a little post about what I’ll bring with me.

Travel essentials What I’ll bring to Japan
Yesterday I’ve realized that I have no idea what to except in Japan. Usually I put a lot of time in organisation and preparation before a travel, i.e. where to eat, what to do ecc. This time I have a little schedule in Okinawa but I had no clue what to do in Tokyo. I’ve read a couple of Japan posts from Alice, which where definitely a great help. Moreover, I stocked up a couple of travel guides. 12 hours on the plane are enough time to dip into Japanese culture, history and food. Also, I found this stunning dress at Zara the other day, which had Japan written all over.

Tech essentials What I’ll bring to Japan
As for my tech supplies I’m curious to try my Canon EOS M10, which I’ve had for over a year now but never really had the chance to try it. Canon was so nice to lend me a 22mm 2.0f lens, which will be great to vlog (yes, maybe I’ll try to make more voiceovers this time). My Bose Quietcomfort 35 were the best birthday present and I couldn’t survive a flight without them. Unfortunately, the plane’s din is still super loud with the headphones on. Usually the noise cancelling is really great and I don’t hear anything around me.
Tech accessories & Philips sonicare GIVEAWAY
And last but not least I’ve got a little giveaway for you. My Philips Sonicare is another great travel companion. I’ve given you a first impression in this post here, in which I’ve talked about my braces as adults. I’m still super happy with the electric toothbrush and the travel case is so handy. In fact, you can easy plug the case to your laptop and charge it. Thanks to Philips I can raffle one Sonicare in rose gold off today. Just fill out the raffle form below!
Good luck & I wish you a wonderful day!!
Oh wow, Japan!
