Books for Christmas. Here’s one last Christmas gift guide speaking of some good books to buy for Christmas. Also, I’m sure that it’s gift that will arrive on time or you’ll be able to get in town.

Voucher books

Right on top of the list there are two voucher books, whose authors I also know personally. That is probably why I highly recommend you getting these two – one for whole South Tyrol Südtirol Unlimited proving you a book full with reduction codes (also great when you’ve planned to visit this year). The second one for 12 gourmet restaurants (and more little surprises) in selected cities of Germany .

Novel

Third, there is Martin Walker new book Germany 2064, which I am currently reading. He fictions the world of 2064 and puts his visions be it political, social and economical ones into a thriller. Quite impressing how he saw some political happenings coming already two years ago.

Interior

Of course, I had to put two interior books on the list as well. One is from Nate Berkus, who is an American interior designer talking in Things that Matter about what inspired him, the people who influenced him and gives a glimpse into his house and work.

Another great one is from Kinofolk – I love the magazines. Kinofolk Home takes us around the world showing 40 homes from the Americas to Europe, Asia to Africa, ending in Australia.

Chick lit

Sophie Kinsella‘s latest book Shopaholic to the Rescue has already been on my list for a while. I can’t wait until my best friend hands me over a copy as a belayed birthday present (we always gift each other books, most of the time from the same author). I just can’t get enough of her books.

I love discovering books through other blogs. In fact, I found this one through the wonderful blog . Mindy Kailing‘s novel Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? (And Other Concerns) talking about Mindy’s life – her childhood, her career path and much more. She’s a brilliant writer and I swear there are enough laughs included!

Life guides

I’ve discovered Garance Doré while I spent my year abroad in Paris and read everything on her blog. Now she’s finally launched her book Love x Style x Life and everyone I know loved it a lot. Definitely to put on your book-list!

Caroline De Maigret & Anne Beret‘s book How To Be Parisian: Wherever You Are is a truly inspiring one. Moreover, we all find French women inspiring – how they style, they life and love. The book is a little guide on how to be Parisian in every situation.

Hope this guide was helpful and let me know if you’ve already read of the books above!
