EN \u2013 ShellacDIY<\/b>. My nails and I aren’t really friends. They break so easily and my nailpolish survives no longer than a day. As a matter of fact, I was so happy when I tried shellac<\/span>for the first time two years ago in Paris and had it done again in China. They did indeed last up to two weeks! Since then I got really addicted and back in Munich I went to the nail studio at least once a month. You can imagine that it gets really expensive with the time. Therefore, I decided to invest in a little home nail studio<\/span> and I’ve been using shellac for over a year now.<\/div>\n\n
DE \u2013 ShellacDIY<\/b>. Meine N\u00e4gel und ich sind keine Freunde. Wenn ich sie unber\u00fchrt lasse, brechen sie immer sofort, ganz zu Schweigen davon, dass kein Lack l\u00e4nger als ein Tag h\u00e4lt. Zum Gl\u00fcck habe ich irgendwann vor ein, zwei Jahren die Shellac<\/span>-Lacke ausprobiert und lieben gelernt. Vor allem als ich in China war, konnte ich verschiedene Marken testen und sie haben wirklich bis zu zwei Wochen lang gehalten. Zur\u00fcck in M\u00fcnchen bin ich mindestens ein Mal im Monat in Nagelstudio gerannt, bis es mir schlicht und einfach zu teuer wurde. In Sachen Kosmetik mache ich sonst auch das meiste selbst \u2013 warum dann auch nicht Shellac? Hier zeige ich euch, was ihr f\u00fcr euer Home-Nagelstudio <\/span>braucht.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\/\/ COSTS. <\/b>Of course, in the beginning it is quite expensive as you need an UV lamp<\/a>, base and top coat<\/a> plus at least two colors for not getting bored of the same color over and over again. I think my starter set cost around 80\u20ac. Some times you may find starter kits for less on Ebay but I preffered to order the products separately. Count around 15-18\u20ac per color. My favorite seller on Ebay is this one <\/a>and it ships really fast from Ireland.<\/div>\n\n
\/\/ KOSTEN. <\/b>Nat\u00fcrlich kostet die Anschaffung beim ersten Mal auch ein Heidengeld, da man eine UV Lampe<\/a>, Top und Base Coat<\/a> und mindestens zwei Farben ben\u00f6tigt, damit ihr euch nicht an der selben Farbe schnell satt seht. Ich sch\u00e4tze mein Starter Kit hat insgesamt um die 80\u20ac gekostet. Falls ihr Gl\u00fcck habt findet ihr auch Starter Kits f\u00fcr weniger auf Ebay. Ich bevorzugte die Produkte dann doch separat zu kaufen. Die Farben kosten immer um die 15-18\u20ac, mehr solltet ihr auf keinem Fall daf\u00fcr ausgeben. Einer meiner Lieblingsanbieter ist dieser hier <\/a>und verschickt sehr schnell aus Irland.<\/div>\n

\/\/ TIME EXPOSURE. <\/b>The application is very simple and you only need a little bit of exercise the first times. Don’t worry there are so many tutorials on Youtube that you can watch. Shellac is advertising that it is really quick but of course it takes longer if you’re doing it yourself \u2013 count approximately an hour for making it your own.<\/div>\n\n
\/\/ ZEITAUFWAND.<\/b> Mit etwas \u00dcbung habt ihr bestimmt schnell den Dreh heraus \u2013 ein bisschen Feingef\u00fchl kann nicht schaden. Mit der Zeit schafft ihr es dann bestimmt auch schneller und besser. CND Shellac wirbt damit, dass die Anwendung 30 Minuten im Nagelstudio dauert, aber erfahrungsgem\u00e4\u00df brauche ich dann doch immer bis zu eine Stunde.<\/div>\n

thin layer of base coat \u2013 followed by one or two layers of color \u2013 use studio white to the tips and finish with the top coat<\/i>\n

\/\/ APPLICATION. <\/b>You should start with the base coat and let it dry for 10 seconds in the UV lamp, followed by the color, which you can apply once or twice. The colors always need to dry at least two minutes \u2013 the best is to let it dry longer in the end to fix it really well. To conclude you apply a thin layer of the top coat and leave it dry for another two minutes. After all this you soak a cotton pad with nail polish remover and clean your nails in order to remove the upper film. Et voil\u00e0 … fini! <\/i><\/p>\n

\/\/ ANWENDUNG. <\/b>Ihr beginnt mit dem Base Coat und tragt eine d\u00fcnne Schicht auf, die ihr 10 Sekunden + in der UV Lampe aush\u00e4rten lasst. Im Anschluss kommt dann die Farbe, ein oder zwei Mal aufgetragen, die dann zwei Minuten unter der Lampe trocknet. Wie gewohnt bei normalem Lack tragt ihr das Wei\u00df auf die Spitzen auf und wiederholt das Verfahren. Zu guter Letzt kommt noch der Top Coat, den ich immer zwei Minuten trocknen lasse. Auf der Oberfl\u00e4che befindet sich ein Film, den ihr mit Nagellackentferner l\u00f6st. Et voil\u00e0 … fertig!<\/i><\/div>\n

\/\/ COLOR.<\/b> Here I’ve tried a French Manicure<\/i> for the first time, which turned out better than expected but I definitely need more exercise. For the French base coat I used the color ‚beau‘<\/span>, which is way too pink for my taste and it looks really like ‚Barbie-nails‘. In case anyone can recommend me a tone more into beige I’d be really happy!
The colors I own so far are ‚Decadence‘<\/span>, ‚Dark Dhelia‘<\/span> and ‚Hollywood‘<\/span>. All beautiful red tones!

\/\/ FARBEN. <\/b>Hier habe ich zum ersten Mal eine French Manik\u00fcre ausprobiert \u2013 sieht gar nicht Mal so schlecht aus, aber ein bisschen \u00dcbung brauche ich noch. Leider gef\u00e4llt mir die Farbe ‚Beau‘<\/span> als Unterlack gar nicht, denn er sieht sehr nach einer ‚Barbie-Manik\u00fcre‘ aus. Falls ihr eine bessere Farbe in Richtung beige f\u00fcr French Manicure wisst, lasst es mich doch bitte wissen!
Meine anderen Farben, die ich habe sind ‚Decadence‘<\/span>, ‚Dark Dhelia‘<\/span> und ‚Hollywood‘<\/span> \u2013 alles wundersch\u00f6ne Rott\u00f6ne!
