BaliDiary8<\/strong>. Heute ist es auch schon wieder zwei Wochen her, dass wir auf den Gili Inseln<\/strong> waren. Mittlerweile haben wir vier N\u00e4chte im S\u00fcden von Lombok und drei N\u00e4chte in Ubud verbracht und reisen heute weiter hoch in den Norden. Von Bali bietet es an, auch die Gili Inseln im Nord-Westen Lomboks zu besuchen. Die Meere rund um die Inseln sind ein Schnorchelparadies. Gili Trawangan<\/strong> ist das Party-Paradies unter den Inseln und dementsprechend auch etwas teurer, Gili Meno<\/strong> die Ruhigste und Gili Air <\/strong>ein Mittelding mit den sch\u00f6nsten Str\u00e4nden. Wir entschieden uns f\u00fcr letztere. \u00dcber Booking buchten wir vier N\u00e4chte im Ice Guest House. Bereits am ersten Tag hat es uns so gut gefallen, dass an die vier N\u00e4chste noch zwei angeh\u00e4ngt haben.<\/p>\n

Auf der Insel hatten wir endlich Mal Zeit durchzuatmen. Es gibt keinen motorisierten Verkehr und man kann sich entweder f\u00fcr 50.000 IDR, ca. 3,3\u20ac, Fahrr\u00e4der ausleihen oder zu Fu\u00df die Insel erkundigen, wie wir es gemacht haben. Die Einheimischen bewegen sich am liebsten mit kleinen Elektrorollern oder mit den Pferdekutschen fort. Trotz ihres sch\u00f6nen Schmucks, sahen viele Pferde leider v\u00f6llig abgemagert und ersch\u00f6pft aus. Kein Wunder, wenn sie den ganzen Tag \u00fcber die hei\u00dfe Insel gejagt werden. Auf der anderen Seite w\u00fcrden sie kaum etwas zu essen bekommen, w\u00fcrde keine Tourist damit fahren. Beides nicht optimal.<\/p>\n

Ich rate euch auf den Gilis bereits gegen 7-8 Uhr aufzustehen, denn bereits ab 8 Uhr morgens brennt die Sonne so stark runter. Schattenpl\u00e4tze gibt es am Strand kaum welche \u2013 lediglich ein paar B\u00e4umchen. Aus diesem Grund sind wir immer etwas fr\u00fcher aufgestanden und daf\u00fcr einen Mittagsschlaf gemacht. Das Tolle auf der Insel ist, dass man auch in den Warungs ohne Probleme den ganzen Tag im Schatten verbringen kann und gem\u00fctlich lesen. Nur sind diese beliebten Pl\u00e4tze immer schnell weg, sodass man auch hier sp\u00e4testens um 11 Uhr sein sollte. Die wei\u00dfen Sandstr\u00e4nde sind sehr sch\u00f6n, doch leider ist das Korrallenriff schon etwas abgestorben und die Str\u00e4nde sind teilweise \u00fcbers\u00e4t. Zum Schnorcheln ist die Insel sehr sch\u00f6n. F\u00fcr 40.000 IDR, ca. 2,6\u20ac, haben wir uns an zwei Tagen Schwimmbrille und Flossen ausgeliehen und mein Freund hat zwei Riesenschildkr\u00f6ten gesehen. Ich hatte leider kein Gl\u00fcck. Zum Baden hingegen fand ich die Insel nicht so sch\u00f6n. \u00dcberall sind Steine und man muss sehr weit rausgehen. An manchen Tagen ist die Str\u00f6mung auch sehr stark.<\/p>\n

Wie \u00fcberall in S\u00fcdostasien geht die Sonne bereits sehr fr\u00fch gegen 18:30 unter. Ich empfehle es euch sehr jeden Abend an die Spitze der Insel zu spazieren und die sch\u00f6nen Sonnenunterg\u00e4nge zu genie\u00dfen. Die letzten Tage haben wir den Spie\u00df umgedreht und sind um 6 Uhr morgens aufgestanden, um den Sonnenaufgang zu sehen. Die Stimmung in der Fr\u00fch ist wundersch\u00f6n, w\u00e4hrend die Insel noch ruhig ist. Alles in allem war es eine wundersch\u00f6ne Zeit und von unseren kulinarischen Highlights habe ich euch ja bereits vor ein paar Tagen erz\u00e4hlt. <\/p>\n
