Back in July, a whatsapp chat with the name „Cannes en Septembre<\/strong>“ <\/em>popped up on my phone.\u00a0One of my closest friends invited us for a girls getaway to Cannes. France is always a good idea! Moreover, I hadn’t been to the C\u00f4te D’Azur since I moved back home from Paris. And that was already three years ago!<\/p>\n

Late september is the perfect time for the Southern coastal areas \u2013 France, Italy, Slovenia… The weather is still warm enough, all the families have gone and the beaches are quite empty. I was so happy that the water wasn’t too cold and I went for my last summer swim.<\/p>\n\"Cote\n

Welcome to<\/em> CANNES<\/strong><\/h1>\n

Here are a few shots from Cannes<\/strong> itself. The first day we walked through the city I didn’t bring my camera. Also, the weather was quite bad. Don’t want to spread the bad mood up here. Luckily the rest of the week was super sunny!<\/p>\n\"Cote\n\"Cote\n

Day trip to<\/em> \u00ceLE SAINT HONORAT<\/strong><\/h1>\n

You won’t get bored in Cannes. The city is the perfect basis to visit surrounding places. One of the famous places to go is for example \u00cele Saint Honorat<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

  • it’s the second largest island of the L\u00e9rins Islands<\/em><\/li>\n
  • 1.5km long and 400m wide<\/li>\n
  • the island still retains the monastery where 30 monks live nowaway<\/li>\n
  • you can visit the monastery and church of Abbey L\u00e9rins<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\"Cote\n\"Cotebeautiful Abbey L\u00e9rins<\/span>\n
