Na wer rechnet vor, wie gro\u00df Berlin ist? Ich lasse es lieber. Und dennoch wirkte San Francisco f\u00fcr mich riesig. Riesig, weil es eine unglaublich spannende, <em>moving<\/em>, junge und hippe Stadt ist.\u00a0Die kalifornische Stadt hat einen unglaublichen Vibe auf mich hinterlassen. Ich w\u00fcrde morgen sofort wieder in den Flieger steigen und einen St\u00e4dtetrip machen. Oder etwa das Umlang von San Francisco zu erkunden. Doch mehr Zeit lohnt sich allemal. Als wir das erste Mal nach San Francisco reinfuhren (nat\u00fcrlich extra vom Norden stadteinw\u00e4rts \u00fcber die Golden Gate Bridge), waren wir sofort verzaubert von den <strong>h\u00fcbschen, bunten H\u00e4usern und den steilen Stra\u00dfen<\/strong>. Noch dazu kommt, dass <strong>San Francisco das volle Paket hat<\/strong>: das Gro\u00dfstadtleben, sehr viele gro\u00dfe und kleine Parks als R\u00fcckzugsorte (Presidio, Golden Gate Park und Lake Merced z\u00e4hlen hier zu den Gr\u00f6\u00dften) und dazu noch eine pulsierende Foodszene.<\/p>\n<p>Neben einem klassischen St\u00e4dtetrip bietet San Francisco demnach die M\u00f6glichkeit ein paar ruhige Stunden am Stand in oder au\u00dferhalb der Stadt zu verbringen, eine Fahrradtour durch die Muir Woods oder nach Sausalito zu machen. Entlang der K\u00fcste der Golden Gate Bridge kann man sogar entspannte Wanderungen machen.<\/p>\n<h3><i>Die\u00a0<\/i>VIERTEL<\/h3>\n<p>Ich habe lange \u00fcberlegt, wie ich euch die Stadt am besten vorstelle. Ein San Francisco\u00a0<strong><em>Neighboorhoods Guide <\/em><\/strong>schien mir hier am passendsten. Let&#8217;s do this!<\/p>\n<div class=\"post-box\">\n<img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/i.etsystatic.com\/5719413\/r\/il\/43fced\/1669903913\/il_794xN.1669903913_rf33.jpg\" width=\"794\" height=\"794\" \/>\n<p><em>via Etsy<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li><a class=\"follow\" href=\"https:\/\/neuroresidency.ucsf.edu\/sites\/neuroresidency.ucsf.edu\/files\/San_Francisco_Neighborhood_Map_0.jpg\">Hier gibt es eine Karte mit den verschiedenen <i>Neighborhoods.<\/i><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Im Norden<\/span> San Franciscos findet ihr die Viertel <i>Presidio<\/i>, <i>Marina<\/i>, <i>Cow Hollow<\/i> und <i>Pacific Heights<\/i> \u00fcber <i>Russian Hill<\/i>, <i>North Waterfront<\/i> entlang des Wassers bis hin zum <i>Financial District<\/i> und <i>Down Town<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Im Zentrum<\/span> <i>Haight<\/i> mit den hippen Mikro-Vierteln <i>Haight-Ashbury<\/i>, <i>Haightfilmore, Buena Vista<\/i>, westlich davon <i>Sunset<\/i>, <i>Castro<\/i>, <i>Mission<\/i> und <i>Potrero Hill<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Im S\u00fcden<\/span> findet ihr vorwiegend ruhigere Wohnviertel.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bitte steinigt mich nicht, wenn ich hier Viertel und Mikro-Viertel vermische. Angeblich entstehen. in SF immer neue Unterbezeichnungen f\u00fcr die Viertel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>F\u00fcr einen klassischen Touri-Trip wird man sich vorwiegend in den Vierteln rund um die <b>San Francisco Bay<\/b> und <b>Pacific Ocean Bay<\/b> bewegen. Das <a class=\"follow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.booking.com\/hotel\/us\/triton.de.html?aid=311092&amp;label=triton-h8hMSWbp241P1vq7SBTpigS267058154772%3Apl%3Ata%3Ap1%3Ap2%3Aac%3Aap1t1%3Aneg%3Afi%3Atiaud-146342138230%3Akwd-298849750011%3Alp9060640%3Ali%3Adec%3Adm&amp;sid=8cd63669bc29541ec8bfacdc55d106c8&amp;dest_id=20015732&amp;dest_type=city&amp;group_adults=2&amp;group_children=0&amp;hapos=1&amp;hpos=1&amp;no_rooms=1&amp;sr_order=popularity&amp;srepoch=1574623769&amp;srpvid=3cd9890c78a40376&amp;ucfs=1&amp;from=searchresults;highlight_room=#hotelTmpl\">Hotel Triton<\/a>, ein s\u00fc\u00dfes Boutique Hotel, war f\u00fcr uns die perfekte Ausgangslage. Von dort aus waren wir super schnell \u00fcberall. Zum bekannten <strong>Union Square<\/strong> sind es beispielsweise blo\u00df 5 Minuten zu Fu\u00df. Das S\u00fcdlichste, das ihr wohl in San Francisco erkunden werdet, ist das Mission District (10-15 Minuten mit dem Auto). Vergleichsweise sind es zum westlichsten Punkt auf der Sightseeing-Liste, dem Baker Beach, auch blo\u00df eine 15-20 min\u00fctliche Fahrt. F\u00fcr meinen n\u00e4chsten Trip w\u00fcrde ich aber eher in einem der \u201ehippen\u201c Nachbarschaften, wie beispielsweise im Castro \u00fcbernachten. Hier bin ich mehrmals auf die traditionelle<em> Cable Car<\/em> on und off gehopst, habe die beeindruckende <em>Transamerica Pyramid<\/em> von unten gesehen, das San Francisco Pendant zum Flat Iron Building bestaunt und durch das Banker Viertel Abends flaniert. <strong>einer gef\u00fchrten E-Scooter-Tour<\/strong> bis hin zur Golden Gate Bridge erkunden. Die meisten Touren oder Verleihe findet ihr bei der <strong>Fisherman&#8217;s Warf<\/strong>. Wer sich noch nicht genug sportlich bet\u00e4tigt hat, kann auch bis nach Sausalito auf die andere Stra\u00dfenseite fahren. Wir w\u00e4hlten dann doch die bequemere Variante und sind mit dem Auto r\u00fcberged\u00fcst. Der <strong>Pier 37<\/strong> ist nat\u00fcrlich auch ein Muss. Nachdem wir uns im <a class=\"follow\" href=\"https:\/\/eaglecafe.com\">Eagle Caf\u00e9<\/a> bei einem klassischen Crab Roll gest\u00e4rkt haben, besuchten wir die Seehunde am Wasser. Am sp\u00e4ten Nachmittag stiegen wir auf<strong> ein Segelschiff<\/strong> und schipperten vorbei an Alcatraz zur Golden Gate Bridge rein in den Sonnenuntergang.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Die E-Scooter Tour haben wir \u00fcber die <a class=\"follow\" href=\"https:\/\/electrictourcompany.com\/tour\/golden-gate-bridge-scooter-tour\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Electric Tour Company<\/a> gebucht. Die Tour ist nicht ganz g\u00fcnstig und kostet 85$ &#8211; 105$.<\/li>\n<li><i>Tipp:<\/i>\u00a0Au\u00dferdem haben ein Besichtigung von Alcatraz sehr viele empfohlen. Ihr m\u00fcsst hierf\u00fcr aber rechtzeitig ein Ticket buchen (<a class=\"follow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.alcatrazcruises.com\/tour-options\/night-tour\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">k\u00f6nnt ihr hier tun<\/a>), da diese immer ausgebucht ist. Ich w\u00fcrde den Sunset Sail auf jeden Fall der Besichtigung von Alcatraz vorziehen.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"post-box\">\n<h5>GET THERE<\/h5>\n<p>Es bietet sich an von Union Square mit der Die Flora und Fauna erinnert mich stark an die mediterrane von Sardinien. Der Presidio Park bietet unter anderem auch interessante Kunstinstallationen \u201eArt in the Park\u201c von Andy Goldsworthy. Falls ihr hungrig werdet, gibt es leckere, nicht ganz g\u00fcnstige Sandwiches oder Burger im <a class=\"follow\" href=\"http:\/\/www.presidiosocialclub.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener In Sunset gibt es bei San <a class=\"follow\" href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/ZzhE3vHfTzTKVXSN7\">Tung\u2019s Chicken<\/a> angeblich die besten Chicken Wings der Stadt, die beste Pho der Stadt bei <a class=\"follow\" href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/uS2FPDHzixtMhvEh8\">Quan Ngnon<\/a> oder die besten Burritos au\u00dferhalb von Mission bei Gordos. Ein weiteres Foodhighlight ist <a class=\"follow\" href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/mTsp1hREB6gqb3aP8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Trouble Coffee and Coconut Club<\/a> f\u00fcr seinen bekannten <i>Cinnamon Toast<\/i>. Die bunten <i>Victorian Houses<\/i> wurden gegen Ende des 19th Jahrhundert errichtet. Wusstet ihr, dass ein Haus erst &#8222;Painted Lady&#8220; bezeichnet wird, wenn seine Fassade mehr als drei Wandfarben enth\u00e4lt? <em>Now you know.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Die bekanntesten <i>Painted Ladies<\/i> oder auch <i>Seven Sisters<\/i> genannt,<i> <\/i>sind jene aus Full House bekannt. Es wird auch als die \u201eGayberhood\u201c von San Francisco bezeichnet. Die LGBTQ Nachbarschaft war unter anderem auch das Zuhause des Gay-Right Aktivisten <em>Harvey Milk<\/em>. Hier finden das ganze Jahr \u00fcber bekannte Paraden statt. Castro war eines meiner Highlights. Wir nahmen an einem <a href=\"http:\/\/urbanhikersf.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Urban Hike<\/a> teil (wovon ich euch noch erz\u00e4hlen werde) und erkundigten die belebte Nachbarschaft mit seinen umso sch\u00f6neren H\u00e4usern. Vom <strong>Castro Theater<\/strong> k\u00f6nnt ihr \u00fcber den <strong>Tank Hill<\/strong> bis hoch zu den <strong>Twin Peaks<\/strong> spazieren. Die Aussicht von dort oben ist grandios.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><i>Shopping-Tipp!!<\/i>\u00a0<a class=\"follow\" href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/3K2TVfMDPFnP1JD9A\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener \/>\n<h3><strong>SAN FRANCISCO<\/strong><em>\u00a0meine Reisezeit<\/em><\/h3>\n<p>Ich flog Mitte Oktober nach San Francisco, das ich euch sehr empfehlen kann. Mein sonst &#8222;heiliger&#8220; Herbst-Monat stellte sich als die perfekte Reisezeit heraus. In San Francisco trafen wir auf angenehme Temperaturen und am Ende unserer Reise, waren es sogar nochmals 30\u00b0 (dies ist allerdings f\u00fcr die Zeit sehr ungew\u00f6hnlich). Wer im Anschluss noch \u00fcberlegt nach Yosemite oder Napa Valley zu fahren, trifft auf eine unglaubliche Herbstlandschaft. Ihr k\u00f6nnt euch entspannt in den Bus, Tram, die urige Cable Car nicht zu vergessen oder in die BART (Regionalzug) setzen. F\u00fcr viele Strecken lohnt es sich allerdings bequem ein Lyft (besonders w\u00e4hrend der &#8222;Prime Times&#8220; ist Lyft preiswerter als Uber, aber immer noch g\u00fcnstiger als ein Taxi) zu bestellen.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mietwagen parken in San Francisco<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>San Francisco mit einem Westcoast- oder l\u00e4ngerem Roadtrip zu verbinden bietet sich auf jeden Fall an. Wir haben unseren Mietwagen bequem in einer Tiefgarage geparkt. Dies hatten wir vorab \u00fcber Bestparking gebucht.\u00a0Achtung: Die meisten Parkgaragen verlangen f\u00fcr SUV und In-Out&#8217;s zus\u00e4tzliche Geb\u00fchren. Es gibt in den Wohnvierteln aber auch sehr viele kostenfreie Parkpl\u00e4tze.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h3><em>Meine<\/em> HIGHLIGHTS<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Mein absolutes Highlight von San Francisco war das erste Mal \u00fcber die <strong>Golden Gate Bridge zu fahren<\/strong>. (kleiner Hinweis man zahlt nur Maut, wenn man in die Stadt reinf\u00e4hrt. Diese wird direkt abgebucht und ihr bekommt die Abrechnung direkt \u00fcber den Autoverleih. <a class=\"follow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.usa-reisetipps.net\/auto-verkehr\/maut-toll-golden-gate-bridge\">Hier gibt es eine kurzen Artikel dar\u00fcber<\/a>) Es lohnt sich auf jeden Fall stadteinw\u00e4rst vom Norden einzufahren. Der Anblick der Br\u00fccke und Stadt im Hintergrund ist super imposant.<\/li>\n<li>Ein weiteres Highlight war unser\u00a0<strong>Urban Hike<\/strong>\u00a0mit den <a class=\"follow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.urbanhikersf.com\">Urban Hikers<\/a>. Diesen kann ich euch sehr ans Herz legen.
