Die Strecke ist mit dem einen oder anderen Stopp doch l\u00e4nger als man erwartet. Wir sind mittags in San Francisco losgefahren und am sp\u00e4ten Nachmittag in Monterey angekommen.<\/p>\n<h2>MONTEREY &#8211; <em>17-Mile Drive<\/em><\/h2>\n<p>Der <strong>17-<em>Mile Drive<\/em><\/strong> ist die K\u00fcstenstra\u00dfe der Monterey-Halbinsel zwischen Carmel-by-the-Sea und Monterey. F\u00fcr die ganze Rundfahrt haben wir ungef\u00e4hr eine Stunde gebraucht. Das lag allerdings daran, dass wir so sp\u00e4t dran waren, dass wir in der D\u00e4mmerung an der ber\u00fchmten <em>Lone Cypress<\/em> ankamen.<\/p>\n<div class=\"tgb_left\"><img loading=\"lazy\" <strong>Bixby Creek Bridge<\/strong>. Fr\u00fchaufstehen hat sich auf jeden Fall gelohnt. Der Himmel f\u00e4rbte sich langsam rosa und der ruhige Moment mit Blick auf die Br\u00fccke war wundersch\u00f6n. entspannt die Strecke runter. Das <strong>Hearst Castle<\/strong> hatte ich nicht mehr auf dem Schirm. Jedoch hatte ich auf Amandines Blog zuvor gelesen, dass es bei ihnen leider geschlossen war. Auf einmal poppte das Schild auf. Das Schloss hatte mir auch meine Freundin, die in LA lebt empfohlen. Und ja \u2013 es war ein Traum. Wir machten die <em>Upper Suites Tour<\/em>, die weniger besucht war als der klassische Rundgang.
