Hamburg, you pretty city! It\u2019s nearly been six years now since my last time in Hamburg. My boyfriend has never been there before, so thanks to the invitation of Radisson Blu Hotel, Hamburg Airport<\/strong><\/a> organized by the PureGLAM-Team<\/a> it was the perfect timing for a short trip to this lovely city. We took the train early in the morning and arrived around noon. Even though we stayed at an airport hotel, I like travelling by train a lot more. Not only do you get inexpensive tickets, but you can also travel from city center to city center.<\/p>\n

The Radisson Blu Hotel, Hamburg Airport<\/strong> is a 30min ride away from the central station. Of course, that weekend the commuter train line was blocked and we had to change more times to get to the city center. As soon as we arrived at the hotel, we checked into our business room \u2013 definitely bigger than our tiny apartment in Munich. The hotel rooms are really nice and clean; there is a minibar and a big tv as well as a bathroom with a rainshower (who needs bathtubs?)<\/em>. There was a small but absolutely sufficient spa on our floor, that we used each evening. We definitely should go to the sauna in Munich more often!<\/p>\n

The Radisson Blu Hotel, Hamburg Airport organized a little get-together with us blogger and instagramer on the first evening. Instagramer? As a matter of fact, the whole weekend was also about Instagram because the World Wide Insta Meet #wwim11hh<\/strong> in Hamburg, about which I will tell you more in one of the next posts, took place in Hamburg the weekend before. But back to our lovely dinner. After having a little tour through the hotel, we got together at the Felini-Restaurant<\/strong> starting with a great Italian appetizer plate. The chef also showed us around in the kitchen where our main course was already being prepared. That roastbeef was so delicious. After dessert we dropped into bed exhausted.<\/p>\n

Hamburg, du sch\u00f6ne Stadt! Das letzte Mal habe ich auf meiner Interrail-Reise im September 2010 ein paar Tage in der Hansestadt verbracht. Mein Freund war noch nie da und so war die Freude umso gr\u00f6\u00dfer, als die Einladung vom Radisson Blu Hotel, Hamburg Airport<\/strong><\/a>, organisiert vom PureGLAM Team<\/a>, reinflatterte. So fuhren wir am Freitag fr\u00fchmorgens mit der Bahn los, sodass wir gegen 12 Uhr ankamen. Ja, es ist ein bisschen widerspr\u00fcchlich mit der Bahn zu einem Flughafenhotel zu fahren, aber die Fl\u00fcge waren an dem Wochenende einfach viel zu teuer. Au\u00dferdem finde ich es angenehmer von Stadtzentrum zu Stadtzentrum zu reisen und mit der Bahncard kommt man innerhalb Deutschlands sowieso \u00fcberall g\u00fcnstiger hin.<\/p>\n

Das Radisson Blu Hotel, Hamburg Airport<\/strong> liegt eine 30-min\u00fctige S-Bahn-Fahrt vom Hauptbahnhof entfernt. Ausgerechnet an dem Wochenende war Schienenersatzverkehr auf der S1, sodass wir immer etwas l\u00e4nger in die Stadt brauchten. Aber wir nahmen es gelassen. Im Hotel angekommen erfuhren wir, dass wir in einem tollen Business Zimmer \u00fcbernachten durften \u2013 das war auf jeden Fall gr\u00f6\u00dfer als unsere M\u00fcnchner Einzimmerwohnung. Die Zimmer sind sch\u00f6n modern eingerichtet, Badezimmer mit Regendusche (wer braucht schon Badewannen?!),<\/em> eine Minibar und ein gro\u00dfer Flatscreen mit allen m\u00f6glichen Features. Auf unserer Etage befand sich auch ein kleiner Spa-Bereich mit Sauna und Dampfbad, nutzten wir nat\u00fcrlich jeden Abend. Wir sollten in M\u00fcnchen unbedingt \u00f6fter in die Sauna gehen!<\/p>\n

Am ersten Abend hatte das Radisson Blu Hotel, Hamburg Airport ein nettes Get-together mit den anderen Bloggern und Instagramern organisiert. Instagramer? Tats\u00e4chlich hat sich das ganze Wochenende unter anderem um Instagram gedreht, denn an jenem Wochenende fand das World Wide Instagram Meet #wwim11hh<\/em><\/strong> in Hamburg statt. Dazu erz\u00e4hle ich euch aber in einem der n\u00e4chsten Posts mehr. Zur\u00fcck zu unserem Abend. Nach einer Hotelf\u00fchrung fand ein nettes Abendessen im Felini-Restaurant<\/strong> statt. Eine italienische Vorspeisenplatte \u2013 B\u00fcffelmozzarella mit Tomaten und leckere Focaccia \u2013 er\u00f6ffnete das Abendessen. Im Anschluss zeigte uns der Chefkoch die Hotelk\u00fcche, wo auch schon unsere Hauptspeise vorbereitet wurde. Als Abschluss gab es noch ein leckeres Dessert. Alles in allem war es ein sehr netter Abend und wir sind abends m\u00fcde ins Bett gefallen.<\/p>\n
