Mykonos | Strolling by night

Stroll. I definitely loved these shops – but only for window shopping. The prices were definitely ways too exaggerated. The money was definitely better invested in food and going out. Especially because the summer is almost over and I can’t wait to pull my autumn/winter-clothes out again. That is definitely a factor which cheers me up thinking about the summer ending. How do you feel?
Bummel. Die Shop in Mykonos sind schon einzigartig und ausgeflippt, aber wir irgendwie war meine Shoppinglaune auch auf Urlaub. Vor allem waren die Preise auch völlig übertrieben und der Sommer ist ja auch schon bald wieder fast vorüber. Das Geld war in Essen und Weggehen schon besser investiert. Auf alle Fälle kann ich es schon nicht erwarten, meine Winter-und Herbstsachen hervorzuholen. Was denkt ihr?

Mykonos | Sunset Nr°1

Sunsets-connossieur. Now I declare myself as the sunsets-connossieur. Recently I have been seeing quite a lot of them and different ones. The sunsets on Mykonos are great, but if you really want to see the highlight in Greece – go to Santorini. For those of you who have already been there know that there is a special place where you see the sunset best. In fact, thousands on people sit everywhere to enjoy this spectacular natural wonder. While in Mykonos the sun sets behind the island in Santorini it is eaten by the sea and for a while you can’t distinguish between the sky and the sea. So marvellous!
Sonnenuntergangsexperte. Ich erkläre mich jetzt als Sonnenuntergangsexperte. Neulich habe ich ziemlich viele unterschiedliche Sonnenuntergänge gesehen. Die Sonnenuntergänge auf Mykonos sind auch nicht schlecht, aber nichts gegen den Sonnenuntergang auf Santorin. Für diejenigen, die bereits dort waren, kennen wahrscheinlich auch den Ort, wo tausende von Menschen täglich hinpilgern um den weltberühmten Sonnenuntergang zu genießen. Während in Mykonos die Sonne hinter der Insel untergeht, geht sie in Santorin direkt ins Meer unter und für einen kurzen Moment kann man gar nicht mehr zwischen Himmel und Meer unterscheiden. Alles färbt sich dunkelrot – so schön!
 

Mykonos | Beachlife

Beachlife. Mykonos is definitely CRAZY. It has been known for years to be the meeting for all gay couples, but nowadays it revealed itself also as a party metropolis and relaxing island. I had already been a few times to Mykonos before but I didn’t remember it like that. I must say that we spent a really relaxing time consisting of laying all day long at the beach and plunging into the clear and blue waters. In addition reading material couldn’t miss. I really recommend you Candace Bushnell’s Summer and the City: A Carrie Diaries Novel. A must-read for all Carrie fans. Great start into the week!Strandleben. Mykonos ist schon ziemlich verrückt. Früher wurde es als der Treffpunkt für schwule Paare bekannt, heute auch sowohl als Partyinsel als auch ein geeigneter Ort um nur zu entspannen. Ich war schon ein paar Male da, aber hatte es nicht mehr so in Erinnerung. Alles in allem war es schon ein ziemlich erholsamer Urlaub – nur am Strand liegen und ins kühle Nass zwischendrin hüpfen. Da durfte Lesematerial natürlich nicht fehlen. Ich kann euch nur Candace Bushnells „Summer and the City: A Carrie Diaries Novel“empfehlen. Das muss man als Carriefans einfach gelesen haben. Guten Wochenanfang!

Lovelies, I am back. And I can tell we spent a wonderful and relaxing days (despite the days after our nights out) on the Greel island. As a matter of fact, I can’t wait to show you the pictures. But you’ll need to be patient as I am off to Tuscany again to get my little brother, who I missed so much. For now some pictures I took with one of my besties, who insisted so badly on being „advertised“ another time (check out his page – bastianramoser.com). So much for now – see you soon!

Ihr Lieben, ich bin zurück vom aufregenden Mykonos. Ich kann es schon gar nicht erwarten euch die Bilder zu zeigen. Ihr müsst euch aber noch ein bisschen gedulden, da ich morgen schon wieder in die Toskana düse. Dort werde ich meinen Bruder abholen und vielleicht einen kurzen Abstecher ins The Space Prada Outlet machen. Inzwischen habe ich ein paar Bilder, die ich vor dem Urlaub mit meinem TOLLEN Fotografen (er hat darauf bestanden, nochmals erwähnt zu werden – bastianramoser.com) geschossen habe. GLITTER. I am in love with everything that sparkles, maybe sometimes a little bit too much. But I prefer to wear the pieces with more simple ones. I am so excited because tomorrow I am heading with some friends and family to Mykonos. Can’t wait to finally get there and grab the first gyros pita, stroll through the city by night and lay at the beach all day long. I am not sure whether I will be able to post something or not. Otherwise a lot of pictures await you as soon as I come back. Have a nice weekend!

GLITZER. Ich liebe alles, was glitzert, manchmal auch ein bisschen zu viel. Aber ich trage die Sachen dafür immer lieber mit einfacheren. Ich bin so aufgeregt, morgen fahre ich endlich nach Mykonos mit meiner Familie und ein paar Freunden. Ich kanns gar nicht erwarten, endlich dort anzukommen und mich auf den ersten Pita Gyros zu stürzen, nachts durch die Straßen zu schlendern und den ganzen lieben Tag lang am Strand zu flacken. Ich weiß nicht ob ich dort etwas posten kann. Ansonsten erwarten euch eine Menge Bilder, sobald ich wieder da bin. Habt eine schöne Woche!
