The denim dress. Finally weekend! I’ve been a little bit ill the past days and stayed mostly at home. I suppose shooting new looks in the cold was not the best idea). But I wanted to keep going as motivated as with my first outfit of the year I wanted to keep my rhythm up and show you this gorgeous denim dress.
In fact, this denim dress from Hallhuber been hanging a while in my closet now and I never really knew how to combine it. It looked quite good on Verena, who combined it with a grey woolen jacket. As for me, styling ideas come quite spontaneously sometime. My cool wool jacket with fur from Mango adds that certain coolness. Moreover, I think it works really well with overknees, which are definitely the best types of shoes to wear during these cold days. I’ve been looking desperately for light suede overknees this season but none of them really fit. Sometimes I thought about ordering the most stunning ones from Stuart Weitzmann but I absolutely forgot to do so during Black Friday. For now two pair of black overknees should be enough. Let’s see what the final sales will offer! Styling-wise I could’ve added delicate silk scarf as belt. You’ll see that next time!
Wish you a wonderful day!

Waldmeister.

Back to school. A Happy New Year to all of you! Why can’t the holidays last for longer? After a short break I’m back with my first look of 2016. Uni starts over again tomorrow and I’m already sorry if it gets a bit quiet again here on the blog. My uni project goes into its final spring.
Regarding my look I chose I super relaxed one, which I also love to wear for university. After a long time I took out my black suede overknees out again (here you can see my very first post with it). I forgot how warm they is. The only annoying part is that they slide down most of the times. I need to insert an elastic band (wanted to do that for years). They were definitely a good investment at the beginning of my studies. But they last for year! Moreover, I got this gorgeous fringe pullover from Oasis before Christmas and wore it non stop during the holidays. With a white blouse beneath it is the perfect look for university!
Wish you a wonderful day!

2015. What a year! I can only repeat myself – time flies so quickly! 2015 was a good year for me. I’ve learnt so many great things and worked really hard. But compared to last year I neglected one big thing which I love – traveling! I count seven travels (not counting the times in South Tyrol)!
JANUARY
The first days of January started really good and my boyfriend and I spent a couple of days in Paris. Unfortunately, a couple of days later we’d left the horrible terror attack happened. But life went on and the rest of the month was super busy with university as we always hand in our semester project in January. Also, I got myself a new designer bag, which I still love and started using my Olympus E-PL7.
FEBRUARY
In February I got to travel again and S.Oliver invited me to their style-session to Berlin. Two weeks later my boyfriend and I drove down to South Tyrol to go skiing. Another highlight of mine was our dinner at Shane’s Restaurant, which still is one of the best ones in Munich.
MARCH
In March I started a new job as a retail design assistant, which kept me quite busy the whole month. And every year I say to myself that I will work out a lot more. Luckily, the Sheraton Munich hotel organized an eight-week program at their beautiful gym, where I went a lot of times. Travel-wise Radisson Blu Hamburg Airport Hotel invited us to spend a beautiful weekend in Hamburg. Having my boyfriend with me was even better!

APRIL
April hit off right away with a relaxed Easter weekend, which my boyfriend and I enjoyed with a spa day at the Kempinski Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten in Munich. I got myself my first pair of Louboutins and spotted so many more beautiful things at the Italian Pressdays. Also, wedding season started again and I showed you some pictures of the first one I took. Another great even was the launch of Veuve Cliquot’s new cocktail Cliquot riche, where I finally saw my dear Amandine again.

MAY
In May I ticked off one more city from my bucket list – Firenze! We spent a couple of days in this beautiful city and learnt a lot about renaissance architecture, which … On my way back home I stayed the weekend back home before driving back to Munich.
One more highlight was getting a new layout, which I was more than happy about. All I wanted was a clean and organized one which I got!

JUNE
In June I started blogging also about interior. Even though I’ve never really written about it, those were the posts you loved most. I got you a little insight into my tiny 18m2 apartment followed by announcing that my boyfriend and I would move together in July. Moreover, I enjoyed the barbecues along the Isar together with friends.

JULY
My summer semester was finally over and our summer travels were about to start. First, we drove to a friends house in the Auvergne were we passed the long weekend – hikes in the mountains, canoeing and barbecues at a typical French rustic house. Such good memories! Next up were a few days at my boyfriend’s home where we explored the wine region of the Bourgogne. Given that I’d won two nights at the Westin Paris we had the pleasure to pass three days in the City of Love there. I missed Paris so much and finally met up with Hana from Journey into la Ville Lumière. Lastly, we were invited to the Engadin from the Kulm Hotel St. Moritz and Grand Hotel Kronenhof Pontresina to celebrate the Swiss National Day. I definitely have to come back. Swiss’s landscape is so beautiful!

AUGUST
Everyone was on summer vacation in August and my boyfriend went to Corsica for ten days with friends, which I joined a couple of days later for a week. I’ve already been to Corsica years before but it reminded me how beautiful it is. Definitely a highlight of the year! Moreover, I showed you our living room, which I’m glad you liked a lot.

SEPTEMBER
In September it was all about the Octoberfest. I had a couple of dirndl shootings with Ingolstadt Village, S.Oliver, Hallhuber, Owloon and Triumph. All in all, September was definitely the busiest month speaking of collaborations and work. On the other hand, my boyfriend and I regretted not having booked a trip for the whole month. Nonetheless I had one more trip coming up, which was a blogger trip to Zurich. Such a great city and I have to come back soon!

OCTOBER
I counted down to my birthday weekend, at which I’ve been organizing a trip to South Tyrol for three years now. A couple of close friends from Munich and good old ones joined for a fun weekend. Can’t wait for next year!

NOVEMBER
In November a trip to Berlin with university was on the agenda. Since our semester project is taking place there we discovered Berlin architecture and visited our site. Before I was already excited to try new restaurants and seeing my beloved blogger friends Amandine, Magdalena, Nadine and Alice again.

DECEMBER
Last but not least. In December I had a lot of work to do for university and didn’t have that much time for blogging. However, I showed you a couple of festive looks and ended up wishing you a Merry Christmas from Bolzano.

Best of 2015 on The Golden Bun
