The evening started with a quick presentation of the new BMW 2er Gran Tourer, which is the perfect car for families. Moreover, it gives space to up to seven people with possible seats in the third row. Still it is a big car but it runs with 6,9l per 100km. Afterwards followed a short introduction of dirndl designer Katharina Lukas, which presented over 80 models. Schatzi is a small dirndl manufacturer consisting of a team of 10 people. One of their focus piece are the handmade hearts by the designer’s mother that you can put on your dirndl. The highlight of the runway was definitely the pug, which wasn’t so happy to been shuffled over the catwalk. The children dirndl were just too cute!
It ended with a traditional Bavarian Brotzeit – Obatzda, Bretzn and ham plus a few drinks. By the way, you can see the whole look that I wore to the event here. Thank you BMW for the invitation!

Der Abend begann mit einer kleinen Presseeinführung des BMW 2er Gran Tourer. Wie schon gesagt, ist er das perfekte Familienauto, da er noch viel mehr Platz bietet und bis zu 7 Leute bewegen kann. Trotz der Größe verbraucht er 6,9l pro 100km. Im Anschluss präsentierte Dirndl Designer Katharina Lukas über 80 Modelle. Schatzi ist eine kleine Dirndlmanufaktur und besteht aus einem Team von 10 Leuten. Das Besondere an ihren Dirndl sind die passenden Herzbandln, die Katharinas Mutter immer noch handanfertigt. Ein Highlight des Laufstegs war der Mops, der nicht allzu begeistert war über den Laufsteg geschliffen zu werden. Besonders herzig waren die Kinder-Dirndl-Modelle.
Im Anschluss gab es eine traditionelle Brotzeit mit Obatzda, Breztn, Wurst und Käse. Ein paar leckere Lillet-Cocktails passten super dazu. Übrigens könnt ihr euch mein Outfit, das ich fürs Event getragen habe, hier ansehen! Vielen lieben Dank für die Einladung BMW!

Mein Look ist sehr einfach gehalten und habe mich, wie auch im letzten Beitrag, wieder einmal an meinem Kleiderschrank zuhause bedient – die Lieblingsjeans vergangenen Sommers kombiniert zu einem uralten Peplum-Top. Die gelbe Tote von Oasis fügt noch einen Farbklecks hinzu. Ich hoffe es gefällt euch!

Here’s one more look with my new J Brand jeans. Whenever I drive back home I have a luggage full with dirty clothes and never bring enough for me to wear. Also, because my wardrobe is still full back home. Therefore, I’ve pulled out a couple of clothes that I haven’t worn in ages now. I bought this cute blouse when I was 15. Most of the times I don’t like to wear blouses, because the style doesn’t fit quite well. Moreover, I am not so much into the V-cut. Usually daughters wear their mommies‘ clothes but in our family it’s the other way round. Consequently, I had to regain this striped jacket, which I bought years ago in Aarhus. I love to mix leo print from my Sperry Topsider, stripes and the mint colored clutch.

Meine weiße Jeans von J Brand kommt jetzt gleich zwei Mal hintereinander zum Einsatz. Da ich mit einem vollen Koffer mit Schmutzwäsche nach Hause gefahren bin und nur einen Look für das Wochenende eingepackt habe, wühlte ich Mal wieder in tief in meinem Kleiderschrank. Diese süße Bluse habe ich mir Mal mit 15 gekauft, glaube ich und seitdem kaum mehr getragen. Blusen trage ich wirklich sehr selten, da ich leider nicht genug Schultern habe und ich V-Ausschnitt allgemein nicht so gern mag. Ich habe noch super viele Sachen zuhause in meinem Kleiderschrank hängen und meine Mami bedient sich immer sehr gerne. So musst ich mir wieder diese tolle Streifenjacke zurückholen, die ich vor zwei Jahren in Aarhus gekauft hatte. Ich mag den Mix aus dem Leo-Muster meiner Sperry Topsider, Streifen und mintfarbenen Akzent sehr gerne.

I love this video because hairdressers talk openly about the fact that they’ve been categorized by their profession, how they’re standing above it and how much they love their job. They affirm that they’re not ’normal‘ hairdressers but hairstylists. They try to make people happy and to give them a personality. How many people are going weekly to the hairdresser and are talking off their problems. But the most important thing they say is that they love their job. I cannot image myself sitting at the office every single day with an annoying job. I am very proud of myself what I’ve reached so far – same like the hairdressers that are proud of what they’re doing.

Ich finde es so nett, dass die Friseure im Video ganz offen über ihre Vorurteile sprechen, wie sie drüber stehen und ihre Leidenschaft zum Beruf gemacht haben. In der heutigen Gesellschaft sehr schnell in Schubladen gesteckt wird und ich kann mir vorstellen, dass es nicht immer sehr einfach ist. Aber davon sollte man sich wirklich nicht unterkriegen lassen und den Beruf ausführen, dem einen am meisten Spaß macht. Für mich gäbe es nichts schlimmeres als immer frustriert in der Arbeit zu sitzen und mich selbst nicht verwirklichen zu können. Ich bin stolz darauf, was ich in meinem Alter bereits geschafft habe – ebenso wie die Friseure sich keinen besseren Job vorstellen könnten.
