Paris-Eating Guide. Wie ihr wisst, habe ich vergangenes Jahr für 10 Monate in Paris gelebt und auch das letzte halbe Jahr zwischen München und Paris gependelt. Ich liebe es neue Restaurants zu testen und habe dadurch sehr viele tolle Restaurants in Paris kennengelernt. Nachdem mich immer so viele gefragt haben, wo sie essen gehen sollen oder im Anschluss was trinken, war es Zeit meinen PARIS-ESSENS-GUIDE zu schreiben. Nach harter Arbeit ist er nun endlich fertig und bin sehr stolz auf das Ergebnis. Leider ist er nicht ganz umsonst, aber ich hoffe, dass ihr seht mit wie viel Liebe und Mühe ich ihn geschrieben habe.

Mamie Gâteaux. Und hier kommt auch schon der letzte Paris Beitrag – Mamie Gâteaux im 6. Arrondissement. Dieses süße Café müsst ihr unbedingt für einen Brunch oder eine Kaffee-Pause ausprobieren. Neben einer großen Auswahl an Tees gibt es heiße Schokoladen und viele Kuchen und Tartes um sich wieder ein bisschen zu stärken. Das letzte Mal hab ich dort ein bisschen gearbeitet und die Atmosphäre ist sehr angenehm. Sobald ich das nächste Mal wieder in Paris bin, muss ich unbedingt den Brunch ausprobieren.

Le Pavillon des Canaux. In Paris findet man für jeden Geschmack etwas. Auf der einen Seite gibt es die richtig schicken Orte, auf der anderen Seite die entspannteren, jüngeren und hipperen Viertel. Neben Belleville ist das 19. Arrondissement in den letzten Jahren auch sehr beliebt geworden. Einer sehr cooler Spot darunter ist der Pavillon des Canaux – ein ehemaliges heruntergekommenes Haus, das zu einem Kulturzentrum umgebaut wurde. Von außen erkennt ihr es sofort, da es mit Graffiti besprayt wurde. Im Inneren hingegen sind die Zimmer bun eingerichtet und jedes ist verschieden. Auch im Badezimmer kann man etwas trinken und essen, wenn ihr Glück habt ist die Badewanne noch frei. Ich empfehle euch ab Mittags hinzugehen, da dann die Sonne so schön auf die Terrasse scheint.

Musée Rodin. Dieses schöne Museum stand schon so lange auf meiner Liste. Spätestens nachdem die Dior Hâute Couture Show letzten Frühling dort veranstaltet wurde, musste ich vorbeischauen. Ich kann mich noch gut erinnern, wie schön der Ballsaal von oben bis unten mit Orchideen dekoriert war.

Das Musée Rodin ist bekannt für seinen englischen Garten mit vielen Rosen und zurecht gestutzten Bäumchen. Hier werden heutzutage die Meisterwerke von Auguste Rodin ausgestellt. Beim durchspazieren werdet ihr auch eine Szene aus Midnight in Paris erkennen, die vor der berühmten Le Penseur-Statue. Ihr könnt euren Besuch mit einer kleine Pause auf den Sonnenliegen im hinteren, ruhigeren Parkteil verbinden. Das Museum ist sehr empfehlenswert! Und noch besser – für Architektur- und Kunststudenten umsonst.

EN – Enroute. Exactly one year ago I posted this entry when I was leaving for a month to China. Another year – another trip! While you are reading this we’ll have attached in Singapur where we’ll make an intermediate stop before flying down to Bali for a month tomorrow. Can’t wait for summer and sunshine! DE – Enroute. Genau vor einem Jahr habe ich euch hier angekündigt, dass es für mich jetzt nach China gehen werde. Ein neues Jahr – eine neue Reise. Dieses Jahr haben wir uns Bali als Ziel ausgesucht und sind heute in Singapur gelandet, wo wir einen kleinen Zwischenstopp einlegen.
