Beautyfavorites. And my „favorite things“ feature goes on. Last week I’ve shown you some of my
recent reads (the week before my
favorite sunglasses and another week before my
favorite summer sandals). So let’s start with my beauty essentials. I am not an expert, but I’d love to be more informed about the various products. When it comes to beauty I rely on the things I’ve been using for years now; varying in products from the drugstore and hi-end cosmetics. Let’s have a look!
Mascaras.To find the perfect mascara is a long way to go. My mum was using Clinique ones since ever and I’ve been buying various ones since I am 14. That was the only high-end product I’ve always used. What I love about Clinique mascaras is that they are easily removable even only with hot water. That proofs good quality to me. Right now I am using the
High Impact one. Whenever I go out I am using the
YSL Volume Effect Faux Cils one, which endures really long. For those who don’t want to spend a lot of money I highly recommend you the
Catrice ones, which are really good.
Foundations. My first foundation was from Clinique, had a really strange smell und was shimmering in the light. Also, the quality was really poor. As a matter of fact, I’ve been trying the
Flexilift from Vichy and have been using it over years now. The last time I ran out of it it was time for a change, plus a friend of mine got 50% off on various cosmetic brands. I’ve heard a lot of good things about the
Le Teint Touche Éclat from YSL and went for it. I bought the beige 40 for winter times and beige doré 50 for summer time. Totally satisfied with both of the colors.
Eye-makeup. In daily life I mostly wear only mascara. Some of the times I have periods when I apply a stronger make-up also during day. If the make-up should last the whole day I am using the
Urban Decay eyeshadow primer, which I definitely worth the money and lasts for a long time. Also, I’ve been using the Catrice palette for over a year now, but I’ve recently gotten an allergic reaction to it. Every time my eyes are exposed to wind, they are running and running. As a matter of fact, I am probably changing to a high-end product.
Lips. I’ve already shown you my favorite lipsticks a while ago
in this post.
Make-up remover. Another tough chapter! I’ve tried out so many make-up remover products and was disappointed by so many. I used the L’Oreal removing wipes for a long time, but was still disappointed. Last year I found the best product ever – the
Bi-Phase eyeshadow-remover from La Biosthetique. It is simply the best and it removes your makeup completely!! It is quite expensive in my opinion, but I used the last one for about half a year. Also, the
Lancôme Galatéis Douceur remover is really good.
Bodycare&Co. Before applying my foundation I am always using a
regenerating facial cream from La Biosthetique, which has a really good consistence, pleasant smell and absorbs immediately. Otherwise I am using the Nivea Soft. Regarding my body lotion I am varying between the one from
Biotherm and
La Biosthetique. And for the more special occasions I love to use the
body sorbet from Juicy Couture.

Beautylieblinge. Und meine „Lieblings-Sachen“-Serie setzt sich fort.
Letzte Woche habe ich euch meine letzten 5 Lieblingsbücher gezeigt (die Woche davor
meine Lieblingssonnenbrillen und noch eine Woche davor
meine Lieblingssommersandalen). Diese Woche zeige euch meine Beauty-Lieblinge. Vorausgeschickt, ich bin kein Experte, würde mich aber in dem Gebiet besser auskennen. Im Großen und Ganzen verwende ich seit Jahren dieselben Produkte – vom Kosmetik aus dem Drogeriemarkt bis hin zu ein paar Luxusprodukten.
Wimperntuschen. Ich benutze Clinique-Wimperntuschen schon seit eh und je und mag besonders gerne, dass sie leicht mit Wasser abwaschbar sind. Ich habe schon mehrere Modelle ausprobiert und bin dann bei der High Impact hängen geblieben. Zum Feiern gehen tusche ich die Wimpern aber immer gerne mit der YSL Volume Effect Faux Cils, die viel mehr Volumen zaubert. Für diejenigen, die nicht so viel für die Wimperntusche ausgeben wollen, kann ich euch die Catrice-Wimperntuschen ans Herz legen.
Foundations. Meine erste Foundation war von Clinique und hab sie eine Weile benutzt, aber war viel zu deckend, glitzerte und hatte einen unangenehmen Geruch. Anschließend habe ich jetzt jahrelang die Vichy Flexilift Foundation benutzt und war damit super glücklich. Beim letzten Mal musste ein bisschen Veränderung her und ich hatte über den Le Teint Touche Éclat von YSL nur gutes gehört. Zusammen mit einem 50% Rabatt einer Freundin, habe ich sie mir gleich in zwei Tönen gekauft – 50 beige für den Winter und 40 beige doré für den Sommer. Die Foundation ist nicht ganz deckend, womit ich super zufrieden bin und die Konsistenz ist sehr gut.
Augenmake-up. Im Alltagsleben trage ich eigentlich nur Mascara; habe aber hin und da mal meine Phasen, wo ich dann eine Zeit lang dann wieder stärkeres Augenmake-up trage. Am liebsten benutze ich dann dickeren Eyliner und kräftigen Lidschatten. Für einen längeren Halt trage ich zuvor die beste Eyeshadowbase von Urban Decay auf. Ich verwende nun über ein Jahr eine Palette von Catrice, wovon meine Augen seit neuestem aber immer sehr gereizt und tränend reagieren. Jetzt wird es endlich mal Zeit, dass ich zu einem Hi-End-Produkt wechsle.
Lippen. Meine Lieblingslippenstifte habe ich euch bereits vor einiger Zeit in diesem Post gezeigt.
Abschminkmittel. Das mit dem Abschminkmittel ist auch so ein schwieriges Unterfangen. Ich habe schon so viele Beautyblogger nach dem perfekten Abschminkmittel gefragt, aber keiner konnte mir eines empfehlen. Lange habe ich die Abschminktücher von L’Oreal oder Bebé verwendet, zu einfacher Kernseife gegriffen, aber war nie so richtig zufrieden. Dank La Biosthetique durfte ich den Bi-Phase Remover testen und bin seitdem begeistert. Das ist das einzige Abschminkmittel bisher, womit man die ganze Schminke entfernen kann. Zwischendrin habe ich auch die Abschminkmilch von Lancôme Galatéis Doceur benutzt, die für die tägliche Anwendung super ist und die Haut schonend reinigt. Allerdings bekommt man dickeres Augenmake-up nicht so leicht ab.
Bodylotions&Co. Bevor ich die Foundation auftrage, pflege ich mein Gesicht mit einer restrukturierenden Creme von La Biosthetique. Sie hat einen nicht zu starken Duft und zieht schnell ein. Ansonsten verwende ich auch gerne einfach die beliebte Nivea Soft. Als Bodylotion verwende ich gerne Öl Therapie von Biotherm oder aus die Körpercreme aus der Naturkosmetik-Linie von La Biosthetique. Zwischendrin trage ich auch gerne das Körper-„Sorbet“ von Juicy Couture auf.
