Lace top. Lace always works! I’ve already shown you this gorgeous blouse this morning on Instagram and everybody loved it. Since you’ve asked where I got it from – here we go! I’ve been lusting over the gorgeous Self Portrait lace blouse for a while now but it is sold out nearly everywhere. Therefore I got myself a less expensive version here. The quality is definitely not as good as the designer one but it satisfies my need for the designer one for now. A great eyecatcher is also this Coccinelle suede leather bag. In fact, I’ve been looking for a great suede leather bag for a while now. Coccinelle bags are just too pretty! Alternatively, you can also combine a pair of black high-heeled boots, which I’ve originally had planned to wear.

This morning I was invited to OPI’s prasentation of their latest collection, which you can be very excited about. The new polishes will be available in stores from March on. I’m so in love with this nude tone. I’ll show it in a seperate post. Moreover, I’m really curious how long the polish will last this time, since my nails are most of the time the worst. Polishes don’t last for long, which is why I need to make some chellac nails soon!

Wish you a wonderful day!

Weekend. These pictures come fresh from the camera from the shoot this morning. At least spring come once a week and the rest of the week hasn’t been great. Today it felt like spring again and I took my favorite Claudie Pierlot blouse out. Also, I’ve recently gotten myself a new pair of ripped jeans from Tally Wjeil. As a teenager I loved their jeans and they fit me so well because of their perfect length for people smaller than 1,75m. This gorgeous sleeveles knit vest is from Marc O’Polo’s new collection and just the perfect statement piece which goes with everything.

This week has been super packed and busy. Okay, I made it busy! I worked around 9 hours each day and also started with the new blogilates February workout calendar. The program is tough with little workouts each day. But the good thing is that I’m already seeing results after one week! Moreover, I’m currently writing food plans each week in order to spend less time in the supermarkets and to try out new dishes – new lunches to go and delicious quick dinner recipes. Most of the times healthy but I need my plate of pasta once in a while! As soon as I’m done with the whole month program you’ll get a little review.

Enjoy your weekend!

Restaurants in Munich | Italian at Oh Julia

Oh Julia. What should I say? Everybody is gushing about this Italian place Oh Julia but I always leave the place with not knowing whether to like it or now. I’ve finally been there again for lunch with dear Sara from Josie Loves. I love to catch up with blogger friends! I like the place itself a lot – it seems cosmopolitan and it’s different than the other classic restaurants. It’s young and I like the interior a lot. Especially during summer you enjoy a delicious after work drink on the terrace. Concept-wise it is similar to Vapiano but ways better. There is to say that I’m not a huge fan of counter-service in general. On the menu you’ll find an antipasti platter (which you can choose from the buffet), pasta, some italian main dishes and around 10 pizze.

Regarding the food I made the mistake to order pasta twice. Both times the dish wasn’t very special and there was something disturbing in it. For a delicious plate of pasta head over to my favorite BAR CENTRALE or Timballo in the Maxvorstadt! However, everybody recommended their antipasti which looked great at the buffet. The good thing is also that most of the plates come in two sizes, which is awesome for the hungry ones. And the pizza gets some plus points! All in all, I’ll return for a lunch now and again. If you’re not up for eating you can also stop by for a warm drink in winter or a refreshing one in summer time in between you shopping trip at the Hofstatt.

I hope you liked this recommendation & wish you a wonderful day!

January recap. It’s Monday again and the perfect start into a new month. I am currently rethinking a little bit the styles and types of my blog and usually I’ve been doing this one on a weekly basis. A monthly review will do too and now I’ve also added some monthly favorites of mine. Especially this month hasn’t been as exciting as other and I spent most of the time at uni working on my project.

Monthly favorites READ

During my Christmas Holidays I read two books and was fully motivated to read more. Unfortunately, my uni project took way too much time and I was too tired in the evening to read anything. I definitely need to get some new books.

I read: Shopaholic to the Stars from my favorite writer Sophie Kinsella & Germany 2064 from Martin Walker. I can highly recommend you both books!

Monthly favorites BOUGHT

In January I got myself some basics – a white blouse from Mango (get it here), a beige Zipper pant from Mango (seen here), a white blouse from Asos (seen here). Moreover, I bought some beauty products – They’re Real Mascara from Benefit and a cleaning cream from Grown Alchemist.

Monthly favorites SEEN

I started watching Fashion Bloggers about five Australian blogger, which I really love. It’s really well made and just the kind of reality tv I love to watch. Just finished season 1 and I’m curious for season 2!!

Monthly favorites PLANNED

In February I will work most of the time (hopefully I’ll find some time for the blog too!!). In the last week of February I will drive back home to Southtyrol for one week (haven’t been there such a long time in years now) and I hope that the weather is great and there is plenty of snow!

Wish you a wonderful day!

Others à la mode | my favorite looks of the week #4

Others à la mode. It’s been raining non stop this Sunday which was the perfect day to stay in, cook and watch Fashion Blogger about five Australian blogger. I really like all the episodes and it’s crazy how big all grew within the years. In fact, I got quite inspired and feel the urge to change a lot up here on the blog – positively of course! So let’s finish this week with a bunch of stunning looks that I loved this week!

Let you inspire!

The knit sweater

I was head over heels about this gorgeous leaf knit sweater Caroline’s mother sewed. She also published a tutorial on how to do it, but as a absolute non-knitter it looked so difficult. I should ask my mom to teach me how to do it. Maybe I’ll be done next winter then!

The heritage check coat

Heritage check is quite trending this winter and I love the pattern. One more that goes with pretty much everything – chunky knit, oversize jeans and flats…

Fuzzy pink

I love this girly look a lot. You can simply spice up every look with adding some color. A fuzzy pink coat is definitely on my wishlist!

Suede bottom down skirt

Bottom down skirts are so easy to wear and I love this one Olivia’s combining to her black leather jacket. Also, with a pair of flat budapester you can never go wrong!

That long office blazer

Lisa is the queen of minimalism. The simpliest looks are sometime the best. This reminds me that I need to pull out my coated jeans again.

Denim dungaree

Denim, denim, denim! I didn’t quite follow the dungaree trend but I really like this combination with a sheer blouse with a large bow on it. Most of the dungarees I’ve seen where oversized but I really love this slim fit one.

Sticker bomber jacket

Isn’t that bomber jacket with patches from Coach gorgeous. It goes so well with the whole look. This lace blouse is also to die for.
