Wiesn-Special. Hopefully you’ll started the week fueled with energy as I did … not! I’m finally back in Munich but the last travels were draining me of strength a little bit and I don’t have the time to catch up some sleep. Anyway, let’s focus on today’s post. The Wiesn is coming closer and closer and two weeks ago I’ve already shown you an Oktoberfest-inspiration with S. Oliver.

Today I have the honor to present you this wonderful pink dirndl from Owloon from German dirndl designer Caroline Elleke. I love the simple yet very modern styles of Dirndl. In her latest collection she’s also got some with leather tops and chiffon skirts.

Porto-Vecchio. While I am already back from my little vacation you’ll enjoy a few more pictures from Corsica on Instagram – @thegoldenbun. It was great and reminded me how beautiful the island is.

Even though I’ve properly planned my looks this time (first time yay!!) we didn’t manage to shoot them all. One of the highlights is definitely my new Larsson & Jennings watch. I was looking for a stylish gold watch for such a long time – oversized, chain bracelet = perfection. Only if my boyfriend hasn’t stolen it and is wearing it all the time… Grrrr!

Moreover, baby blue became one of my favorite colors getting this Coccinelle bag earlier this spring and the addition of last month – these Sandro fringe jeans shorts bought in Paris. As the vendeuse said – you can never go wrong with a pair of jeans short! True that but still I count three pairs of jeans shorts in my closet (two of them are old cut jeans). Therefore, it was about time to invest some money in some good ones!

An escape into the heartland of Corsica | Canyon near Zonza

Canyon. Corsica has so much to offer and if you get bored of the beaches (I cannot imagine why) you can drive to the beautiful heartland of Corsica. I’ve already been in the valley of Bavella with my parents but this time we drove to the area in between Zonza and Quenza.

We found this beautiful canyon near Zonza, which was the perfect spot for a very cold swim. If you are looking for it in specific it is below Pont de Criviscia. Looking at these pictures I am dreaming of this green / turquoise water and just want to plung in at the deep end.

Salut de la Corse! How I missed the beach. Although our travels have been quite amazing lately, nothing beats a couple of days at the beach. After more than six years it was just about time to come back to Corsica. And as I’ve expected, the beaches are still as beautiful as I remembered them!

On Sunday we made a little excursion to Bonifacio, which I highly recommend to visit – beautiful view onto the cliffs and the city itself on top of the hill is so idyllic with little alleys to discover. This romper from Topshop has been hanging in my wardrobe a few years now, which is perfect for a city visit. I combined it to my new lace up espadrilles and fedora hat – all in all, a comfortable vacation look.
