Two weeks ago Fossil invited a bunch of bloggers from Germany and Austria to Munich to their Christmas dinner. I was very pleased since I’d wanted to go to the Flushing Meadow Hotel in such a long time. The evening was lovely! Also, Fossil organized a little Secret Santa where I was lucky to get a beautiful bangle that I am wearing non stop these days.But I was really disappointed of the Flushing Meadow Hotel’s cuisine. The first course was really beautiful to look at and I liked it in a way but most plates went back half-full. Regarding the main course and I were sitting in the middle of the table so we got the middle of the roast meat in medium whilst the other girls got a nearly raw or too well-done piece on their plates. Usually the dessert makes it up – unfortunately, not this time. Nonetheless I will try their food another time to form a second opinion!

Yet we girls enjoyed the dinner and had great chats over a glass of wine. Thank you Fossil for the invitation!

Edit: the bar is really great, though. I’ve spent a couple of evening there now and the atmosphere is cozy and cool. Drinks are very good and prices are absolutely fine. One of the only hotel-bars where you’ll go in Munich!

London with Primark. Sometimes your life feels like a dream. While I’d already planned to go to Berlin last Friday/Saturday another invite popped into my mails. Primark invited me to their pressday to London. And London isn’t just London during this period it’s an unbelievably beautiful city full with Christmas decoration and lovely things. I still remember last year’s trip which was so great.

We stayed at the beautiful Hotel Café Royal at Picadilly Circus – the perfect location for Christmas shopping in London. Our stay started with a delicious festive dinner at the hotel restaurant followed by their pressday the day after. A lot of great pieces will be waiting for you in the stores.

I extended my stay for a bit and went for a delicious Peruvian dinner with friends at Andina and had enought time for breakfast at Caravan and a little stroll through Finsbury.
