Paris-Eating Guide. As you know I was living in Paris for 10 months last year and came back to this beautiful city almost every two weeks the last half year. Mamie Gâteaux. And here comes my last Paris recommendation for this time – Mamie Gâteaux in the 6th arrondissement. This lovely café is definitely a must for a brunch or coffee break on your sightseeing tour. They serve delicious hot chocolate and have a great variety of cakes. I tried the tarte with figs, which was very delicious. You can also sit-in for a while and work like I did. Next time I definitely need to try the brunch.

Le Pavillon des Canaux. I love Paris diversity! On the one hand, you’ll find really chic and on the other hand you’ll find more relaxed, alternative, hip neighborhoods. Next to Belleville the 19th arrondissement became quite popular as well. One of its cool places is the restored Le Pavillon des Canaux – a once rundown house which they turned into a culture centre. On the outside it is fully sprayed with graffitis and inside it’s decorated so cozily. Each room is different and if you’re lucky you can have some drinks in the bathtub. If you’d like to catch some sun on the terrace I recommend going there in the afternoon. Wish you a wonderful day & more tomorrow!

Musée Rodin. This beautiful museum was way too long on my bucket list! Last spring they held the Dior Hâute Couture show at Musée Rodin, which looked too beautiful decorating the whole ball room with orchids. During my last stay I finally managed to have a little walk through the garden, take some pictures of the beautiful roses and sculptures.

Musée Rodin is located in the 7th arrondissement dedicated the sculptures of Auguste Rodin. I also recognized it from Midnight in Paris, when they stood in front of the famous Le Penseur-statue. You can combine your visit with a rest in the quieter backyard which I highly recommend!

EN – Enroute. Exactly one year ago I posted this entry when I was leaving for a month to China. Another year – another trip! While you are reading this we’ll have attached in Singapur where we’ll make an intermediate stop before flying down to Bali for a month tomorrow. Can’t wait for summer and sunshine! DE – Enroute. Genau vor einem Jahr habe ich euch hier angekündigt, dass es für mich jetzt nach China gehen werde. Ein neues Jahr – eine neue Reise.
