Munich lately…

EN – Busybee. Reviewing the past two weeks I was on the go non-stop. Next to university I’ve tried to attend as many press appointments and events. Last week I was at a JOY shooting and was styled in a way I normally wouldn’t. I am super excited for the results in the magazine then which will be publishes in august or september.
The weekends were relaxing and we had tons of food. You can read the last FoodFriday here. Lately, the sun has come out again and we spent two wonderful days in the English Garden. One of my fave looks is to wear my new simple pair of Espadrij espadrilles combined with a funky short from Lulus.com.

DE – Busybee. Rückblickend auf die zwei letzten Wochen, war ich ununterbrochen auf Achse. Neben Uni habe ich sehr viele Pressetermine wahrgenommen, war auf zahlreichen Events und last but not least auf einem JOY Shooting. Ich durfte bei einem kleinen Umstyling mitmachen, in welcher Ausgabe es erscheint, voraussichtlich August/September, erfahrt ihr noch. Auf die Ergebnisse bin ich super gespannt.
Die Wochenenden waren meistens sehr entspannt und sehr essenreich. Den letzten FoodFriday gab es am Freitag. Diese Woche ist die Sonne auch endlich mal wieder zum Vorschein getreten. Zwei Nachmittage im Englischen Garten Sonne tanken haben so gut getan. Für einen gemütlichen Look im Englischen Garten habe ich meine neuen Espadrij Espadrilles (die übrigens hier grad reduziert sind) und eine kunterbunte Short von Lulus.com getragen.

EN – GAP. Today I have a couple impressions from the GAP Pop-Up Store that has taken place a couple of weeks ago in Munich. About ten years ago the last GAP stores had been closing down all over Germany and retrieved themselves completely from the German market. But GAP is back now and is starting off with the German online store – www.gap.de.
Hanging out at the pop-up store and talking to people was so much fun. Unfortunately you could buy only a small selection and the rest was more like an exklusive preview of the collection which will be released in June and July. All pieces will be available online and will see if GAP is coming back to Germany sooner or later. Thanks GAP for the invitation!

DE – GAP. Heute gibt es endlich ein paar Impressionen von dem GAP Pop-Up Store, der vor einiger Zeit in München stattgefunden hat. Ich hatte die Ehre als Blogger dort einige Stunden zu verbringen. Der letzte GAP Store hatte vor einigen Jahren in Deutschland geschlossen und seitdem hat sich das Unternehmen auch nicht wieder nach Deutschland zurückgetraut. Aber GAP ist jetzt im ersten Schritt mit dem deutschen Online-Store zurück – www.gap.de.
Der Nachmittag im Store hat sehr viel Spaß gemacht. Leider konnte man nur einzelne Teile kaufen, sodass viele Leute ein bisschen enttäuscht wieder fortgezogen sind. Aber die Nachfrage eines Stores war von Seiten der Besucher auf jeden Fall da. Mal sehen, wann das erste Geschäft wieder öffnet. Vielen Dank an GAP für die Einladung!

LeDu. Since I was in Shanghai last summer, where I had the best Xiao Long Bao of my life I tried to find a restaurant in Munich. But most of the times the dumplings are sticky or too dry. Luckily LeDu | Happy Dumplings has recently opened in Maxvorstadt where you have absolutely to go to.

Jenny and I already tried Black & White, Hot Chicken and Sauer Schwein, which I can highly recommend. Both the steamed and the fried ones are delicious. Olga had Red Bull the last time, which are also mouthwatering. The prizes are absolutely fine. The dumplings come in 6 for 5€ and 10 for 6,9€. See you next time!

EN – Chinos. To be honest, I was never a huge fan of chinos on women and I didn’t see myself wearing them. But then I found this colorful pair of slim chinos from Care Label. I love to style them with a comfortable pair of Supergas and a simple t-shirt. All in all, a casual look for university. And I am so happy that summer came back, which also brought my mood back of taking outfit pictures.

DE – Chinos. Um ehrlich zu sein, war ich noch nie ein Fan von Chinos bei Frauen und hätte nicht gedacht, dass ich mal welche trage. Dank Care Label habe ich aber ein schönes enges Paar gefunden, die ich sehr gerne in der Uni trage. Die Hosen sind super leicht und luftig. Ich persönlich style sie gerne etwas sportlich, z.B. zu meinen Supergas. Und ich bin so glücklich, dass der Sommer endlich da ist und ich wieder Lust habe, Outfitbilder zu schiessen.

Arisu. Whilst, I am quite familiar with most of the Asian kinds of food I rarely eat Korean meals. I had Korean food for the first time in Beijing and the last and first time I ate Bibimbap in Berlin. So it was more than about time to bring my boy to a Korean restaurant.

Arisu is a cute restaurant in the Lehel, which you can easily access by underground. The interior design is kept simple yet tastefully decorated and the staff is very friendly. The prices are absolutely fine as you get one Korean pancake and a soup along with the main dish which is also accompanied by a bowl of rice and some side dishes. We had one bibimbap and one bulgogi – both dishes were really delicious. All in all, I can highly recommend this restaurant and I’ve already added it to my favorite places.
