EN – Seat. To finish up with all my Venice posts I wanted to say a huge thank you to SEAT who borrowed us a car for a test drive. That weekend we drove around 1100 kilometres and it was so much fun to drive with this smaller (but powerful) car. But before I’ll start to go into technical details I’d rather leave that to our car-blogger. Unfortunately, I didn’t take any pictures inside the car but below you’ll find a press picture. DE – Seat. Zum Abschluss meiner Venedig-Posts wollte ich mich nochmals bei SEAT für das coole Auto bedanken, das uns für eine Testfahrt geliehen wurde. Schlussendlich hat das Auto so viel Spaß gemacht zu fahren, dass wir insgesamt ca. 1100 Kilometer gefahren sind. Es ist zwar ein kleineres Auto, kann aber dafür sehr viel. Bevor ich jetzt als Nicht-Autospezialistin noch weiter ins Detail gehe, überlasse ich das lieber den Auto-Bloggern. Leider habe ich kein Foto von außen gemacht, aber dafür gibt es ein Pressefoto! EN – BlueVenice. And here comes my last post from Venice! I never thought that this look would catch so many peoples’ eyes. Apparently, high heels are rarely seen in Venice which I completely understand as most of the people are sneaker-wearing tourists. I took my sandals for a short walk along the water out but also changed to comfortable boots later on. But I feel far prettier wearing high heels making your legs look stunning. Especially when shooting at such a beautiful scenery. Wish you a wonderful day & more tomorrow!
DE – BlauesVenedig. Und hier kommt auch schon der letzte Post aus Venedig. Ich hätte nicht gedacht, dass dieser Look so viele Blicke auf sich ziehen würde, aber eine solche Absatzhöhe ist in Venedig anscheinend nicht üblich. Das liegt wahrscheinlich auch an den Massen an Touristen, die für ihre Sightseeing-Touren lieber Sneakers vorziehen. Auch ich habe dann nach einem kleinen Spaziergang für den restlichen Tag zu Boots gewechselt. Dieses hübsche Kleidchen habe ich bei H&M gefunden (umso günstiger bekommt ihr es mit einem H&M Gutschein bei “erdbeerlounge.de“) Die schönen Sandalen stammen stammen aus der LUXE Kollektion von JustFab. Da ich mein anderes Paar so toll fand, habe ich mir ein weiteres für den Sommer gegönnt. Und ich besitze ja auch noch kein einziges Modell in dieser Farbe! Venedigmix. Und noch ein paar Schnappschüsse aus Venedig. Über Ostern waren Menschenmassen in Venedig, doch abends war die Stadt dann wieder schön ruhig. Wir sind ohne Ziel durch die Stadt geschlendert und den ruhigen nördlichen Teil genossen.

Venice is known to be very touristic. In fact, a lot of restaurants offer “touristic menus”. This time I wanted to be well prepared and try out some new and good restaurants. Even though we only stayed two days we managed to tick off some of the restaurants from the list on the right. Beforehand I asked an acquaintance for some typical restaurants to avoid paying cover and service.
Eating in VeniceTrattoria da Remigio
On the first day, we tried the Trattoria da Remigio out for lunch. It was right next to our hotel and lied in a smaller alley. When we looked into the restaurant we had the impression that nobody else was sitting inside. But there is a second dining room which you don’t spot from the street. We got a cozy table right next to the window. The dishes were typical and I planned to eat a lot of pasta with seafood, which we also did here. For lunch it was not too much, the food was good. Only withdraw – 2,00€ for the cover and additional 12% service! – dishes around 8-18€
Eating in VeniceTaverna del Campiello Remer
For dinner we weren’t so hungry and decided to get an aperol spritz at the Taverna del Campiello Remer which you’ll only find with Google Maps. We had a typical aperitivo, which I’ve told you about it here a long time ago. You can sit in or take an aperol spritz-to-go and sit down on the jetty and enjoy the sunset. – one aperol spritz 5€ or cocktails 8€ with buffet

Lastly on our last day, we tried out the Trattoria Storica in the northern part of Venice. They offer a lunch menu for 12€ including a starter and a main dish. The portions are huge and way too much for us. Actually I wanted to eat the typical spaghetti al nero di seppie but being late the table next to us got the last portion. I haven’t eaten it for a while and wanted it so badly. Another time. Also, they have a special offer for students and you’ll get one dish for 9€. Good for us also, me being Italian we didn’t pay any cover nor service.

EN – Greenpaaded. “I am going to Venice and I need a new rain jacket!”. Luckily, high waters are very rare in spring and the forecast was worse than it was in the end. I loved to stroll through the city without any destination, getting lost in the small alleys. Far away from all the touristic trouble. On our first day I wore a relaxed, sporty outfit and took some new pieces out. Finally, I have a new spring jacket from Gaastra in a light green. I combined it with a scarf from Josie love’s collaboration with Passigatti. Also, the Golden Bun has some golden shoes now. This model is from Peperosa, which are so comfortable and definitely eye-catching. Wish you a wonderful day & more tomorrow!
DE – Greengesteppt. “Ich fahre nach Venedig, ich brauche eine Regenjacke!”. Zum Glück gibt es nicht immer Hochwasser in Venedig, aber die Wettervorhersagen waren schlechter, als sie dann waren. Ohne Rast und ohne Ziel sind wir durch Venedig geschlendert, nach Gefühl mal recht und links abgebogen und in vielen Sackgassen gelandet. Weit weg von dem touristischen Rummel! Am ersten Tag in Venedig habe ich gleich ein paar neue Sachen ausgeführt, unter anderem meine neue Frühlingsdaunenjacke von Gaastra in einem frischen grün. Endlich habe ich auch eine Frühnlingsdaunenjacke mit Kapuze. Dazu kombiniert habe ich den bunten Schal aus der Kollaboration meiner liebsten Bloggerkollegin Sarah mit Passigatti. Eine Premiere – The Golden Bun hat auch endlich goldene Schüchchen, und zwar welche von Peperosa. Am Anfang waren sie etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, vor allem weil ich eine solche Schuhform auch noch nie getragen habe. Wünsche euch einen schönen Tag & mehr gibt es morgen!
