What a lovely day, isn’t it? Don’t know how the weather is like all over the world… but it doesn’t matter – sun is shining. Really need a tan, as vacations are already far away. Spent the week just working at night and going to the gym. This post contains just random shots from the beach. I’ve got to admit that the beaches where quite nice, but too overloaded. Two years ago I was in Corsica and they are ways more beautiful! By the way I really recommend going to Corsica.

Was für ein Schöner Tag, nicht? Weiß zwar nicht wie das Wetter bei euch ist… Egal – hauptsache die Sonne scheint. Ich muss mich jetzt wirklich mal wieder bräunen gehn, mein Urlaub ist jetzt auch schon eine Woche her. Die Woche über hab ich nicht viel gemacht – gearbeitet und Fitness. Dieser Post enthält ein paar Bilder vom Strand. Aber ich muss wirklich gestehen, dass die Strände nicht so schön sind wie in Korsika. Ich war vor zwei Jahren dort und ich kann euch die Insel nur empfehlen.

‘Saint-Tropez (Sant Tropetz in Occitan) is a town, 104 km to the east of Marseille, in the Var department of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region of southeastern France. It is also the principal town in the canton of Saint-Tropez.
It is located on the French Riviera, and it is known today for its famous and extremely wealthy summertime guests. It has been dubbed the ‘playground to jetsetters, fashion models, and millionaires’, and it is most-enduringly known as the place the iconic Brigitte Bardot “discovered” and for its role in the liberation of southern France during World War II.’ This is what Wikipedia says about Saint-Tropez…but what do I think? To be honest, all the hype around Saint-Tropez is totally esagerated. If you hear about it you imagine a big city, VIP’s all over the places spending loads of money ecc. None of it holds true. It’s a small city near the sea with a port, where some luxury yacht sare resting. Of course, there are many small shops reaching from the luxury ones to more cheaper ones. If you like chaos, go to Saint-Tropez. Going a litte further away from the centre, there are very cute alleys with restaurants, pubs and small botiques. Very french! But I love that.
The second part of the pictures is fromNizza where I’ve only spent an hour, because I had to catch the flight toMunich. Actually it’s a pity, that I didn’t have more time…Das ist was Wikipedia über Saint-Tropez denkt…(ich hoffe ihr könnt English > bin zu faul es nochmals rauszusuchen)…aber was ist mein Eindruck davon? Um ehrlich zu sein ist der ganze Rummel über Saint-Tropez komplett übertrieben. Es entspricht nicht ganz der Realität. Wenn man davon hört, stellt man sich eine große Stadt vor, wo man überall VIP’s antrifft, die ihr Geld zum Fenster rauswerfen usw. Aber dem ist nicht so. Es ist eine kleine Stadt am Meer, mit einem netten Hafen, wo dennoch einige Luxusjachten stehen. Natürlich gibt es auch eine Menge an Shops, von etwas teureren zu preisgünstigeren. Wer Rummel liebt, der muss nach Saint-Tropez. Sobald man sich ein wenig vom Zentrum entfernt, findet man sehr nette, kleine Gassen mit Restaurants, Pubs and kleinen Botiquen. Sehr französisch! Aber das gefällt mir.
Der zweite Teil der Bilder ist von Nizza, wo ich allerdins nur eine Stunde verbracht habe, weil ich den Flug nach München nehmen musste.
