80% aller Bauern nehmen an diesem Programm teil.

Uf Widerluege!

Black overknees. Let’s talk about the perfect black suede overknees. It was quite hard to find the right ones and I’ve already tried the gorgeous Stuart Weitzman overknees on. Unfortunately, they were way too high for my size and I tried three different models on. In the end, I saved 800€, which I preferably spend for traveling. Speaking of which, I’ve booked two more trips for this year and thinking of two more.

About these black booties. Three weeks ago I was in Salzburg with my mom and we came by a store that I would usually never enter. But they had some cute jelly boots on sale in the window and I went in. Unfortunately the jelly boots weren’t available in my size but there they were – the perfect black overknees. Sude leather. Perfect height. On sale for 50€. In my size. I was so happy!

Here’s a look with all my favorite pieces right now: my favorite black biker leather jacket from Asos, this embroidered dress from Warehouse, my Coccinelle crossbody bag, Daniel Wellington watch in black and the black overknees plus one of my favorite matte lipsticks from Astor. Black black black! The next look will be more colorful, I swear!

Have on gorgeous weekend! I’ll talk to you on Monday!

Itxaso Tapas Bar. Where have the last two weeks gone? They passed so quickly. Last weekend I was in South Tyrol with all my friends. Right after I flew to Moskau on Monday and I came back on Wednesday where I was invited to a wine tasting of Wein aus Spanien at the great Ixaso Tapas Bar in the Glockenbach neighbourhood. More meetings and events followed and there is one more tonight. But more about it soon! And before it gets too quiet up here on the blog I have a new restaurant recommendation for you.

Itxaso Tapas Bar

Who has already been in Spain knows how hard it is to find a good tapas Bar outside the country. I was so happy to discover this great restaurant/bar thanks to the invite of Wein aus Spanien: the Itxaso, a small and cute tapas bar with Spanish flair at Pestalozzistraße. When entering you’ll stand in front of the bar and a couple of steps lead up to the dining area. One more winebar is attached to it.

Itxaso Tapas Bar Pinxtos & Tapas

Together with Wein aus Spanien we tried ten different wines. Bloggers had sent their favourite Spain pictures beforehand and sommelier Peter F. Holm chose matching wines with the image. Not always easy as he told us. The pairings were super interesting and I loved to learn more about wine. With the wine various tapas were served. Super delicious tapas! On Itxaso’s menu you’ll find a great variation of pinxtos and tapas, such as: Patatas bravas con alioli, Pimientos de Padrón (one of my favorites – ordered them twice), Pulpo a la gallega 2.0, Tabla de jamón y queso. Moreover, they have a changing Tapa & Croqueta de la semana. As dessert they serve Churros con chocolate. Yummy! Do I have to add more?

If you’re still looking for a great bar for the weekend I absolutely recommend this tapas bar. However, keep in mind that all good restaurant in Munich are always booked out on weekends.

Black ruffles. Greetings from my beautiful hometown Bozen in Northern Italy! I’m here with all my friends from Munich to celebrate my birthday and I’m super excited for today. A little hike, traditional food and lots of fun is awaiting us. So lucky to be surrounded by all these lovely people!

And speaking of Saturday Night Fever! Whenever I got out for drinks our dinner I never really know what to wear. Most of the times I’m way too overdressed wearing my pretty dresses and nice pumps or the complete opposite. Right now I’m looking for more casual looks for going out, such as this look. I came across this nice black ruffle top, which I combined to my new ripped mom jeans (the first time I wore them the button fell off – so annyoing!). A pretty pair of black pointed high heels make the whole look a lot more elegant. I have to admit that these Louboutin 85 Pigalle are definitely not the most comfortable shoes but I’ve mentioned that before. But they’re just so beautiful!

Wish you a wonderful day!

A day at the city spa | my experience at the So SPA

So SPA Sofitel. University was the best time in my life most people say. I’m sure it was! On the other hand, I realize now that it was super stressful too. During the semester you always have to work on your project, next to courses that are followed by exams. Even though, we architecture students are lucky to have a real break in between semesters I never stopped working. One internship after the other, blog work and so on. Last year I was studying fulltime architecture, had a part-time job and worked on the blog. Not to mention that I had a relationship I wanted to work and catch up with friends. And money can’t buy happiness! Most of the times I really struggle to take some time off. Yes, you see me a lot in spa hotels and I travel a lot but I do most for the blog. I do it for you! And I love it!

But today’s topic is not about complaint. There are so many ways to relax and you don’t have to leave the city and go to a deserted place. You can do it at home or you can go to city spas close by. There aren’t a lot of city spas but luckily there are enough hotels who open their spa amenties to public. Last week I was invited to discover the So SPA of the Sofitel Munich Bayerpost together with my dear friend Conny.

Sofitel Munich Bayerpost So SPA

We met up at around 10 am on a Saturday. It was such mucky weather, which was the perfect timing for the treatments. We’d already booked a couple of weeks in advance as the spa is usually full on weekends. There are a lot of hotel guests and the spa is also open to public. The 600 m2 spa zone includes:

  • A wellness area with sauna, steam bath, nap room
  • A large swimming pool in form of a shell
  • Treatment rooms

You’ll enter the spa with dimmed lights and relaxing music. We quickly changed into bathrobes and we’re welcomed with some tea at the receptions. While Conny went first with the manicure and pedicure I got a great Peau de Satin Scrub. I didn’t know the beauty products from Carita, which was the perfect opportunity to test them. My scrub treatment was great and I had some spare time afterwards to do some steam bath sessions and to swim in the pool. We booked power naps in between which find place in separate rooms and you have one drink included. The green detox smoothie and some fresh fruit was great.

The So SPA was great and I would book another spa-day immediately. When I talked to the lady at the reception she told me that you can also get a discounted member card when you’re living in Munich.

Thank you Sofitel for the invitation. I wish you a wonderful day!
