TapasTapas. Of course, again a travel diary can’t miss a food tip. In this case, I chose the Mercado de San Antón for you, which is definitely a great choice for all the gourmands among you. On the first floor there is a big market where you find a great selection of high quality fish and meat, vegetables and fruit, cheese and more. Upstairs there is the tapas place where you can choose from a great variety of typical Spanish ones, but also some with Greek influences and others. A must do is to go on the top floor and enjoy some drinks on the terrace with a cozy atmosphere. I imagine it being even better in Spring/Summer. Persuaded to go there?
For more tapas I highly recommend you to go to Calle Cava Baja, a non-touristic area, where you will find a lot of Spanish people and enjoy the real tapas-bar-life. We’ve been to Taberna Txakolina, which has a super selection of Tapas.

TapasTapas. Wie immer, gibt es auch einen kleinen Essenstipp von meinem Wochenendtrip. Dieses Mal berichte ich euch über den Mercado de San Antón, der definitiv ein guter Tipp für die Gourmets unter euch ist. Im ersten Stock gibt es eine gute Selektion an Fisch und Fleisch, Gemüse und Obst und vieles mehr. Hungrig sollte man, dann aber so schnell wie möglich in den ersten Stock hochfahren und sich die Bäuche mit ein paar Tapas voll schlagen. Neben typisch spanischen kann man auch zwischen griechischen und weiterem wählen. Anschließend sollte man unbedingt noch auf den einen oder anderen Drink sich auf die Terrasse setzen, die stets gerne besucht ist. 
Wer nach typischen Tapas-Restaurants sucht, sollte sich in der Calle Cava Baja umsehen, wo man auch fast nur auf Spanier trifft. Eine super Auswahl findet man in der Taberna Txakolina, die ich für euch getestet und als gut befunden habe…
