#thegoldenbunontour. Little reminder of my trip to Berlin two weeks ago. The first part is already online therefore it was time for the second. Both last days were as exhausting and full with program like the first one. Whereas the last one was definitely the most intense with three guided tours around the city.

9.30am. {Day 2} We started our Architecture tour in Charlottenburg this time. We got a guided tour from Claudia Kromrei and hit off at the Walther Benjamin Platz followed by a walk through the neighborhood visiting some of the Albert Gessner houses.

1pm. Later on we visited our fellow students at the TU Berlin. The faculty of architecture was built by Bernhard Hermkes.

4.30pm. As we skipped lunch we were absolutely starving when we reached the Bikini House. We dropped into this newly opened fast food restaurant called BagYard. They serve fresh meals such as various of their bag dishes, chia pudding, falafel and much more.

5.30pm. When being around the Bikini House you should definitely take the elevater of the 25 Hours Hotel up to the top. To the left you’ll find the Neni restaurant (I wrote about it already here) and the Monkey Bar is to the right where you can enjoy a great view over the Bikini House and the Zoologischer Garten.

8pm. I love spontaneous meetings. Two of my beloved blogger friends texted me earlier that day if we wanted to meet for dinner. Of course! So I drove to Kreuzberg where I met up with and at this Italian place called Trattoria Tre Soli. We had a lovely evening with good food. I haven’t had vongole for ages!

9am. {Day 3} After a short night we met up at the Karl-Marx-Allee where we had the our first guided tour out of three that day. However, it was super interesting to see so many different parts of Berlin. Moreover, we dived deeper into the history and got a better understanding of the architectural progress the whole city underwent.

3pm. Our second last stop was the Hansaviertel, which was super interesting to see. There are so many different types of building developed by popular architects. The final guided tour was a visit of the Haus des Rundfunks built from Hans Poelzig. You can imagine how exhausted we were that day!

7pm. Before taking our plane we had a quick dinner at YamYam in Mitte (already wrote about it ). I just love Korean food! Next time I’ll will try some more new places since we went back to a few were I’ve already been.

I hope you liked my Berlin-Guides (Part one ) & wish you a wonderful day!

Ps.: excuse my blurry pictures sometime. My lens dropped with my tripod a while ago and I realized it’s state after I came back from Berlin. I have to fix it ASAP!

Hunted. There are some pieces that you see on the ads and fall immediately in love with. Tommy Hilfiger’s dirndl for Ludwig Beck were such pieces this summer and the same was with this gorgeous Hallhuber coat. I fell head over heels with the combination with the same shorts.

Today I reveal one of my biggest shopping-secrets, which I’ve been using for a long time now. I discovered this site called Shoptagr a while ago, which you can save your favorite items on partner sites like Asos, Zalando, Mytheresa & Co. Shoptagr sends you a notification as soon the article either goes on sale or is low in stock and even better comes back in stock.

I saved this Hallhuber coat a while ago and earlier this week it went finally 30% off. Of course, I ordered it rightaway! In this look I also wore my glitter Jimmy Choo peep-toes for the first time. I got them in the Mytheresa Sale here in Munich a while ago for incredible 100€. They’re the most comfortable heels! In fact, I would never ever pay the full price of designer pieces. Enough Shopping-secrets today! How do you like this elegant look with ripped Jeans?

Wish you a wonderful day!

Holy Burger. There are still a few burger places on my list, such as Holy Burger. In fact, I’d heard only positive opinions of their burger and was excited. Together with a group of friends we checked out the one next to the central station. Surprisingly, it was quite packed for a Wednesday evening.

We ordered various burger and I chose the BBQ burger. Their prices are equal to Munich’s usual burger prices and vary between 8€ and 14€. My barbecue burger was really good – the bun was fresh and not watery, which most of the times burger bread is. Moreover, they focus on local and fresh organic products. I also shared some side dishes with friends whereof the sweet potato fries where really good. On the other hand, they can definitely improve their potato wedges and the fried onion rings were nearly raw and tasteless.

The staff was very nice and asked regularly if everything was fine. Only they made a little bit of confusion with our bill as we were all paying separately and some sides were missing. All in all, I’ll definitely come back soon.

Wish you a wonderful day!

#thegoldenbunontour. Another week passed since my three days in Berlin and it’s time to tell you more my trip. Being there with my university studio meant having quite a tight schedule with lots of visits and architecture tours. Our master project is based in Berlin, which was also a good to visit the area. Here’s a little Berlin-guide!

Three days in Berlin 8am.

After a short night we took the early flight at 6.15, which meant arriving in Berlin super early. Perfect for having a relaxed breakfast. I’d checked some places before but most of them were too far from our meeting point. Luckily Zeit für Brot was right next to our hostel. Apparently they have the best cinnamon rolls in Berlin. Maybe you have to wait for a little bit if they run out of the rolls. I am such a poppy seed fan and went for one of those rolls. So good! Perfect breakfast!

Three days in Berlin 11am.

After an abundant breakfast, we enjoyed the view from the TV tower at Alexanderplatz. Luckily, the weather was great and we had such a lovely sight. However, I find 13€ quite expensive for what it is.

Three days in Berlin 12.30 pm.

I was really excited for eating in Berlin, which is one of the few reasons I would move to Berlin. The prices and variety is so much better than in Munich. I’d already been at ChénChè Teehaus a few years ago and loved the atmosphere and food. Great place to have lunch in Mitte. If I remember well we paid around 10-12€ for a dish and drink.

2pm. Every city is so much more beautiful when the sun is shining. In the early afternoon our architecture program went on:

  • Altes Museum Berlin from Karl Friedrich Schinkel
  • Introduction of the building lot Stadtschloß from Thomas Albrecht
  • Walk at Unter den Linden:
Neue Wache from Karl Friedrich Schinkel
    Humboldtuniversität from Johann Boumann
    Universitätsbibliothek Grimm-Zentrum from Max Dudler

Three days in Berlin 8pm.

A friend of mine lived in Berlin for a while and she is such a fan of Tommi’s Burgerjoint‘s burgers. Of course, this was one of our eating-spots being such a burger lover. Even though the place is in Mitte the prices are definitely good. I got a burger + sweet potato fries + a drink for around 13€. The burger was great but the side dish was so huge and at a point you just can’t continue to eat.
