EN – Frenchbreakfast. Waking up in Paris and looking onto that beautiful French architecture. Gosh I missed this! Of course, a good baguette traditionelle and tons of croissants au beurre can’t be missing. As I’ve told you I was in Paris last week again. For my new readers. Paris is so special to me because I lived there for a year. So more impressions will be up within this week – à bientôt!
DE – Frenchbreakfast. In Paris aufzuwachen ist immer wieder etwas besonderes – auch wenn man dort schon für längere Zeit gewohnt hat. Ein gutes Frühstück darf dabei natürlich nicht fehlen. Wie ich das vermisst habe – ein gutes baguette traditionelle und ein paar frische Croissants au beurre. Wie ich euch schon erzählt habe, war ich letzte Woche wieder einmal in Paris. Meine neuen Leser wissen es wahrscheinlich noch nicht, warum Paris für mich so eine besondere Stadt ist. Ich habe nämlich dort ein Jahr lang gelebt. EN – Firstone. I wish you all a belayed Happy New Year and all the best for 2014. I’ve just come back from Paris where stayed the last five days. Some impressions are already up on my Instagram account.
While I am prepping some Paris posts for you, let’s start the year with a colorful winterly outfit. Simple, classic coat combined with cool shredded jeans and some green accents.

EN – 2013. Here comes my review of 2013. It was even better than I’ve expected and I totally underestimated my travels. For 2014 I definitely have a travel ban – let’s see how long it endures. And now 2014 bring it on!
DE – 2013. Hier kommt mein Jahresrückblick von 2013. Das Jahr wurde doch besser, als ich gedacht hatte. Im Januar hätte ich nie gedacht, dass ich so viel Reisen werde. Für 2014 habe ich jetzt erstmals eine kleine Reisesperre – mal sehen, wie lange die anhält. Und nun bin ich gespannt wie 2014 so wird!
JANUAR
EN – I celebrated New Year in Munich with a couple friends and drove back home for the remaining holiday. The I got back to Paris, wherefrom I posted a couple of outfits. I was also lucky enough to attend a few Haute Couture shows.
DE – Silvester bei Freunden in München: ich habe die kurze Zeit in Bayerns Hauptstadt sehr genossen. Dann ein paar Tage zuhause in Bozen und anschließend zurück nach Paris. Es war ein sehr Outfitlastiger Monat mit einem edlem Abschluss – die Haute Couture Schauen in der Ville de la mode.
FEBRUAR
EN – A month full of travelling. During my university break I tried to visit as many friends abroad. I started off in England, flew to Denmark and took the train to Germany. Quick stop in Paris. Then back home to South Tyrol, a few days in Munich, fashion week in Milan and then Paris. All in in 20 days!
DE – Ein reiner Reisemonat. Während der Semesterferien habe ich so viele Freunde wie möglich besucht, in England, Dänemark und Deutschland. Anschließend die Fashion Week in Mailand und dann zurück nach Paris zur Semaine de la mode. Und das alles in 20 Tagen!
MÄRZ
EN – It was fashion week again in Paris and I rushed from one event to the other. But it was so much fun and I met so many lovely people. I wrote a little feature “Blogger and the City” for Stylight and shooted some exclusive back-stage pictures for La Biosthetique. In Paris I found one of my favorite brunch places and when my parents were in town we tried some more great restaurants. Another highlight of the month was the maracon smackdown, which they organize each year to choose the best macarons of the city.
DE – Anfang des Monats fast non-stop unterwegs auf der Semaine de la Mode in Paris. Ein recht stressiges Unterfangen aber mit vielen netten Menschen. Ich habe für Stylight ein kleines Feature “Blogger and the City” geschrieben und für La Biosthetique offizielle Backstage-Bilder geschossen. Mit einer Freundin habe ich in Paris meinen inzwischen Lieblings-Brunch-Ort entdeckt und nette Restaurants. Ein Highlight war der Macaron Smackdown mit der Kür der besten Macarons.
APRIL
EN – It one of the few times that I didn’t spend easter back home. But my best friend was in town for ten days, which was one of the best times in Paris. We made a boat tour on the Seine, found the great Hèrmes Store in Saint-Germain des Près and a lot more. By the end of the month I also visted the cute castle of Fontainebleu. Tiziana was in town and we shot some great spring pictures in Paris. And my blog celebrated it’s 3rd birthday – can’t believe it!
DE – Ostern feierte ich dieses Jahr mal nicht zuhause. Meine beste Freundin und noch ein paar Freunde haben mich in Paris besucht. Zusammen sind wir mit einem Bateau Mouche auf der Seine rumgetuckert, haben den Hèrmes Store in Saint-Germain des Près entdeckt und vieles mehr. Mit einer anderen Freundin habe ich auch noch das süße Schlösschen Château de Fontainebleu besucht. Mit Tiziana habe ich auch noch wundervolle Frühlingsbilder geschossen. Außerdem hat mein Blog seinen 3. Geburtstag gefeiert! Wahnsinn!
MAY
EN – I visited a friend in Canada and USA for three weeks. From Quèbec City to Montrèal, Ottawa to Toronto and throught New Hampshire down to Boston and Cape Cod. Roadtrips are the best!
DE – Im Mai bin ich für drei Wochen zu einem Freund nach Kanada und in die USA geflogen. Von Quèbec City aus nach Montrèal, von dort aus nach Ottawa und Toronto und anschließend durch New Hampshire runter nach Boston und Cape Cod. Roadtrips machen Super Spaß!
JUNE
EN – Summertime in Paris was definitely the best. My boys from Munich came to visit me – we found the cute Marché des Enfants Rouges and a few unique conept stores such as Merci. The rest of the month my blog was packed with outfits.
DE – In Paris war es wunderbar sommerlich. Besuch meine Jungstruppe aus München – zusammen haben wir den Marché des Enfants Rouges und tolle Concept Store entdeckt. Ansonsten war der Monat sehr Outfit reich.
JULY
EN – Fashion Week in Berlin was on. I won Sal Y Limon’s challenge and they invited me to meet Chiara at their stall on the bread & butter. I stayed a little longer and was happy to see Amandine again. But then there was my last week in Paris… the last one! I tried to tick most of my things off my to-do-list. Still, I have so much to do in Paris. Leaving the city of lights and all the great people I’ve met was so hard. My parents came to get me in Paris and drove through France for a week. I saw the most beautiful lavender fields, cute villages such as St. Paul de Vence and finally got to the sea in Toulon. Then back to Italy.
DE – Gleich zu Beginn des Monats die Fashion Week in Berlin. Auch ich bin einen Tag mit Sal Y Limon zur Bread & Butter geflogen um Chiara zu treffen. Zurück in Paris … die letzte Woche! Der Abschied war so schwer. Ich habe so tolle Menschen in den zehn Monaten kennengelernt. Meine Eltern haben mich in Paris abgeholt und wir sind noch eine Woche quer durch Frankreich gefahren. Vorbei an den Lavendelfeldern von Sénanque, dem süßen Örtchen St. Paul de Vence und runter ans Meer auf die Insel Porquerolles. Dann wieder zurück nach Italien.
AUGUST
EN –Normally, my summer term in Munich ended in mid-august, so basically there was not much left of the summer. This year I had plenty of time to enjoy my summer in South Tyrol. The lakes, hikes in the mountains, delicious food and wine. Moreover, I had my first TV interview. In between I drove to Munich and met Eva Padberg at the Ingolstadt Village.
DE – In den letzten Jahren hat mein Semester immer erst Mitte August aufgehört und so konnte ich den Sommer in Südtirol genießen – die Seen, das gute Essen und das Wandern in den Bergen. habe wundervolle Orte in der Heimat entdeckt. Außerdem hatte ich mein erstes Fernseh-Interview und einen Bildbericht in einem der Südtiroler Wochenmagazine. Zwischendrin verschlug es mich auch wieder nach München und ich interviewte Eva Padberg im Ingolstadt Village.
SEPTEMBER
EN – My new bloglayout went online and I am more than happy with it. November was another travelling month. This time I flew on the other end of the world to China. Jenny worked in Beijing, who I promised to visit. Said and done. Valentin joined me and we spent some days in Beijing. Afterwards we travelled two more weeks through China. From Beijing to Xi’an, then onto Jiu Zhai Gou, Yangshuo, Xingping and Longji. Our last stop was Shanghai and had a few more days left in Beijing. It was such an interesting country and I highly recommend it – especially for the great food.
DE – Mein neues Blogdesign ist online gegangen und ich war wieder in der weiten Welt unterwegs. Diesmal in CHINA! Jenny hat in Peking gearbeitet und einen Besuch hatte ich ihr versprochen. Zusammen mit Valentin bin ich zwei Wochen lang durch China gereist. Von Peking aus nach Xi’an, dann nach Jiu Zhai Gou, Yangshuo, Xingping and Longji. Unser vorletzter Stop war Shanghai bevor es wieder nach Peking zurückging. Ein super interessantes Land, das ich jedem empfehlen kann – auch wegen dem Essen!
OCTOBER
EN – University was about to start again and I drove back home for my birthday with all my friends from Munich. That weekend was so much fun. A week later I sold some of my clothes at the Bloggerbazaar. I can’t wait for the one in spring! October was packed with events – Mango Opening / Forever 21 Store Opening / Duo Blogger Meet-up and many more. Irina and I tried to visit as many showrooms as we could.
DE – Vor Semesterbeginn an der Uni habe ich etwas Zeit in München verbracht. Mein Geburtstagswochenende habe ich mit meinen Münchner Freunden in Südtirol beim Törggelen verbracht. Danach der große Blogger Bazar – auf das Frühlingsevent freue ich mich schon sehr! Ein anderes Event im Oktober, das Mango Opening auf der Neuhauser Str. / Forever 21 Store Opening / Duo Blogger Meet–up. Danach ein Pressday nach dem anderen. Zusammen mit Irina war ich fast non–stop unterwegs.
NOVEMBER
EN – … and more pressdays. HossIntropia send me a beautiful coat again, which I shot with Tiziana. La Biosthetique released one of their new series “Longs Cheveux”, which I tested at Cyrill Zenhäusern’s boutique in Munich. Wertheim Village invited a few blogger gals to meet Milla Jovovich and Milena and I drove to the Salzburg Outlet Center for a Late-Night-Shopping. It got colder and colder in Munich and we had the first snow.
DE – … und noch mehr Pressdays. HossIntropia hatte mir einen wunderschönen Mantel geschickt. Außerdem durfte ich bei Cyrill Zenhäusern die neue Longs Cheveux Linie von La Biosthetique testen, von der ich super begeistert bin. Zusammen mit ein paar Mädels ging es zum Treffen mit Milla Jovovich ins Wertheim Village und mit Milena ins Salzburg Outlet Center zum Late-Night-Shopping. In München wurde es immer kälter und hat zum ersten Mal geschneit.
DECEMBER
EN – It was about time to travel again and I flew to London with the girls to meet a friend of ours. I can highly recommend you a visit during Christmas time. Everything is so beautifully decorated. Unfortunately, I got sick right afterwards. Nonetheless Mauri could persuade me to fly to Berlin for the EIS, EIS baby – Event by Eis.de. I didn’t regret it! And the event was so much fun. Of course, I got sick again. Before Christmas I moved spontaneously to my new flat. Then Christmas and tons of family festivities. And now I am back in Paris where celebrated New Year’s Eve.
DE – Reiselust zwischendrin: übers Wochenende bin ich mit den Mädels zu einem Freund in London geflogen. Einen Besuch in London zur Weihnachtszeit kann ich sehr empfehlen. Es war überall so wunderschön weihnachtlich dekoriert. Anschließend hat mich eine fiebrige Erkältung ans Bett gefesselt. Mauri konnte mich trotz meines gesundheitlichen Zustandes doch noch überreden nach Berlin zum EIS, EIS baby – Event zu fliegen. Ich habe es nicht bereut! Leider war meine Erkältung danach nicht besser. Noch kurz vor Weihnachten bin ich in meine neue Wohnung gezogen. Dann Weihnachten und die Feiertage mit der Familie zuhause. Und habe 2013 in Paris ausklingen lassen!
EN – NewYear. Red is definitely the color to wear on New Year’s Eve. Brings luck and tons of good mood. Here is a little outfit inspiration for the last day of the year. Of course, it always depends what you are doing. I hope you’re not sitting at home and ignoring the change of the year. “Dinner for one” is my only must watch of the day.

DE – Silvester. Rot an Silvester bringt Glück, heißt es. Und am besten noch in Kombination mit Pailletten. Hier ist meine Silvester-Inspiration. Ich hoffe ihr habt was Schönes für heute Abend geplant und geht nicht um 10 Uhr schlafen. Das einzige, was ich unbedingt machen muss, ist “Dinner for one” zu schauen.

EN – Christmaslook. It’s been raining cats and dogs the past days down here in the valley and finally snowed up in the mountains. The sun showed up again yesterday and those who’ve been skiing had such a good weather. I wish I’d gone skiing too. On the other hand, I had some spare time to shoot some new looks for you with my mom.
Especially, I wanted to show you my Christmas Eve look in a better quality (for those who’ve already spotted it on my Instagram account – @thegoldenbun). I could perfectly wear the look for New Year as well. The weather was so nice that I could finally wear my new classic Dolce & Gabbana sunglasses, which was one of my Christmas gifts from Lensbest. I am still madly in love with this French Connection skirt – one of my bargains from London.

DE – Christmaslook. Endlich scheint wieder die Sonne! Nach dem Regen der letzten Tage ist das eine Wohltat. Und auf den Bergen liegt frischer Schnee. Die Skifahrer konnten sich endlich wieder austoben. Ich hab die Wintersonne gleich genutzt um mit meiner Mam ein paar Fotos zu machen.
Ich hatte euch ja versprochen meinen Weihnachtslook nochmals zu zeigen – eine kleine Vorschau gabs ja schon bei Instagram. Der Look könnte auch für den Silvester Abend passen. Aber ich habe noch eine weitere Idee, die ich euch vielleicht noch schaffe zu zeigen. Bei dem fantastischen Wetter konnte ich auch mein Weihnachtsgeschenk von Lensbest tragen – und dazu eine klassische schwarze Sonnenbrille von Dolce & Gabbana. Und ich bin immer noch ganz vernarrt in meinen French Connection Rock. Ich muss euch noch die restlichen Teile zeigen, die ich im Sample Sale in London gekauft habe.
