Girls trip to Ibiza – 3 beach restaurants / clubs not to miss
Ibiza is a place you’ll immediately fall in love with. The variety of diverse beaches, from calm to party ones, is great. The vibe on Ibiza is amazing and everybody feels good. What I’ve realized immediately: Ibiza is not like the rest of Spain. There are lots of Ibiza style restaurant and cafés. They mostly serve healthy and delicious (but sometimes oh so pricey) dishes.
Here are three great beach club / restaurant recommendations you cannot miss on Ibiza!
CALA NOVA Atzaró Beach Restaurant
The stylish Atzaró Beach Restaurant lies directly at the beautiful Cala Nova behind the Es Caná, which is a small fishermen’s port. The perfect mix of Mediterranean flair focusing on fish and seafood. The beach club is the perfect option for everyone who loves a relaxed atmosphere, great food and not to mention a great view onto the Cala Nova. We caught a windy day and the water was quite shaky. But the view was still beautiful, wasn’t it?
Cala Nova AIYANNA BEACH RESTAURANT
Although I got great recommendations for breakfast on Ibiza, we started the day each day at our apartment close to Cala Llonga. On our second day we drove to the calmer beach of Cala Nova with its beautiful adjacent Aiyanna beach restaurant.
- Recommendation: You can also have breakfast at Aiyanna. The early morning dishes looked great and they have amazing fresh juices.

If you want to lunch or dine at Aiyanna you should book beforehand. The restaurant is super popular. Luckily, we got a table without reservation in the sofa area. Perfect for our needs. If you’re lucky you can always have a seat there as they usually don’t take any reservations for that. The dishes are a variation of healthy ones with Spanish influences or are classic dishes like Riz negro. The prices are a bit higher but I’m sure you’ll enjoy the stylish and boho flair.

Experimental Beach Club Ibiza
We let the beautiful weekend fade away at the Experimental Beach Club Ibiza. I highly recommend to go there as the atmosphere couldn’t be more Ibiza like. We got there at around 5-6 pm. It was the perfect moment to grab one of the remaining free tables. If you’d like to dine at a larger table you should book beforehand. The mojitos were definitely our highlight – so good! The cocktail’s prices are quite high, around 15€ and we got two antipasti platters for 20€. The sunset was beautiful and we shared some last beautiful moments together.
- Little info: A sunbed costs 25€ without minimum consumption, which is quite a good deal. However I would go elsewhere during the day as there is no real beach there but only pebbles.

… the perfect ending to our Ibiza girls trip!
I wish you a wonderful day!

Girls trip to Ibiza – your 4 days itineray
At the beginning of the year my girlfriends and I spontaneously decided to go on a short girls trip to Ibiza this summer. Said and done. We wanted to dive into the party life of Ibiza and soak up as much Ibiza Flair possible throughout the day.
In this article I’ll show you a lovely itinerary for a long weekend on Ibiza. Another article with recommendations for the best beach clubs will be published too.
The arrival – again no luck with the flights this year
While my friends found quite a cheap flight from Milan Malpensa to Ibiza I didn’t have any luck. I was sure that there were direct flights from Berlin. But no. In the end, I just booked a flight to Milan and from there to Ibiza the day after. Unfortunately my flight to Milan was cancelled 45 minutes before departure. Luckily, I’d found another flight via Dusseldorf to Ibiza the next day. While my friends landed at 8:30am I got there at around 1:00 pm. Let’s hope that I’ll get the 250€ reimbursement back. If not I’m already at 400€ for all flights (I could’ve flown to Thailand for that money).

Girls trip to Ibiza
LUNCH AT LA PALOMA CAFÈ
After my girls picked me up from the airpot we cruised right away to the stunning La Paloma Café, which so many people recommended us.
- Little info: La Paloma Restaurant and La Paloma Café are the same, which we weren’t sure when booking a table.
We arrived there at around 3:00am. The atmosphere is just so relaxing. You’ll sit beautifully and in calm in the middle of lemon and olive trees. Of course, we were starving. On the menu you’ll find delicious bowls – falafel, hummus, soba and many more bowls. We also ordered a bottle of white wine to cheer onto our trip. The dishes took a bit longer than expected – Spanish easiness. The prices are, like anywhere in Ibiza, quite high. In my opinion they’re still fine at La Paloma Café. We had a great first lunch there.

Where to STAY on Ibiza
Having rented a car we were quite flexible where to stay. We decided to rent an apartment at the East coast, which was also quite close to Ibiza’s city centre. We stayed at Cana Sofia, which was absolutely perfect for our needs – parking in front of the hotel (if you’re lucky) and a supermarket across the street. It was a little bit a pity that our rooms faced the streets which were quite loud on Saturday. Overall, we payed around 35€/night which is definitely a great deal for Ibiza.

Where to PARTY on Ibiza
Of course, we had to dive into the party life of Ibiza. We’d already bought tickets for the Martin Garrix concert at Ushuaïa (it is definitely worth to get them online before. We paid 50€ instead of 60€ entrance fee). Since we got there quite early we enjoyed by the pool and danced us in the mood to the djs before Martin Garrix. Little by litte, the club hotel got crowded. Crazy how many people fit into the stage.
- The cocktail prices on the other hand are crazy: 14€ for a desperados and 17€ for a long drink. Just for interest, we asked how much a table and bottle in the VIP area would be. 1400€ for the table for 5 people and 500€ for only the bottle. Crazy!
Luckily, we can also party without drinking lots of alcohol (which was great the day after). The concert was definitely great and so worth it. The high entrance fee was definitely worth it. Our evening ended with some midnight snacks at McDonalds in the Port D’Eivissa ;-).

Ibiza BEACH life
There are so many beautiful beaches on Ibiza. The East and the North are a lot calmer than the West and South. We’ve seen a bit of everything. One day we stayed at the calm Cala Nova in the East, the other day we drove to the West the breathtaking Cala Conta (Platges de Comte).
- I’ve marked all the beautiful beaches in my Ibiza Google Map (see below)
windy weather at Cala Nova

Cala Conta (Platges de Comte)
Platges de Comte, also called Cala Conta, is such a beautiful spot. The water is so crystal clear and blue. We were there on a Saturday and it was indeed crowded. Therefore, if you prefer a calmer day there, weekends should be avoided. For lunch you can eat at Sunset Ashram or head to the close by S’Illa Bosca. Our day at this Ibiza beach was just great.
- Beware: there are only a few to hide in the shade. It’s recommended to bring your own umbrella. There are a few sun beds to the left side of Sunset Ashram restaurant, which you can book before hand. The sun beds on the right side are not so beautiful.

The four days on Ibiza where great to get a first impression of the island. I recommend partying right on the first day (if you’re in the mood) and just relax the days after. Maybe you’ll get into the mood again and there are a lot of more spots to check out.
I wish you a wonderful day!

Mary’s Coffee Club – stylish café in Munich
Mary’s Coffee Club. There are a lot of new places which have opened in Munich since I moved away. One of them is Mary’s Coffee Club. A little bit hidden in the Amalienpassage you’ll find the gorgeous café coming in a stylish interior. Hello girly café!
Café in Munich
Mary’s Coffee Club
Breakfast all day long. I met up with a dear friend around lunchtime. Mary’s Coffee Club offers breakfast around the clock. Also you can have a delicious healthy juice or simply enjoy a classic coffee. In fact, their coffee is really good. Of course, I had to order an iced coffee. I think I’m officially addicted. As I got a little bit hungry, I looked into their menu. The dishes are more brunch to me than breakfast. Unfortunately, the bowl with avocado was sold out so I went for their Telaviv Bowl. Also, they have Avocado Smash which looked really delicious.

RÉSUMÉ
The café is indeed an Instagram’s dream. No wonder that a lot of people come here to shoot (which Mary also advertises on her site to come by and take some photos). She’s understood how social media works. I absolutely love their design and the café is definitely a great addition to Maxvorstadt’s places. I love the contrast of the plain concrete ceilings combined to fresh summer flair with the baskets as decoration. My bowl was good but I didn’t find it extraordinary. Next time I’ll have the Avocado Smash – always a good choice!
