Buenos Aires Pt. 2 | La Boca Buenos Aires
EN
La Boca is a small artistical district in the eastern Buenos Aires and the most known of the 48 districts. It’s totally crazy – every house is painted colorful and there’s a lively atmosphere. There are a few bars, restaurants, which are offering Tango shows all day long. Very interesting to see. Of course, there are also some shops where you the typical tourist gifts like fur jackets, leather boots and fur hats. Unfortunately we’ve already had lunch before otherwise we would’ve eaten and enjoyed a Tango show. We definitely have to come back to have lunch another time.

Buenos Aires Pt. 1. Here I am in Argentina – here comes my travel diary and insider tips.
I still can’t believe that I’m here and it already feels like I’m here for ages – the last two days rushed past so quickly. We landed in Buenos Aires on wednesday early in the morning. Of course, we were very tired and spent the whole day chilling at the “Rio” and drinking “mate”. I’ll come to speak about it later on.
Yesterday we drove into the city and explored Buenos Aires. Let’s talk about Puerto Madero, which is one of the most expensive districts. We walked along the boardwalk to the Puente de la Mujer, a footbridge. The district is quite modern by contrast with the districts which adjoin on it. Quite interesting to visit. Especially to treat oneself to some fine food. In fact, there is a great variety of restaurants and bars with view on the Rio de la Plata. For Europeans everything is quite cheap. 5 Pesos are approximately 0,9€. As a matter of fact, by Argentinian standards expensive business lunchs are around 10€. You wine and dine at a very low price.
Be excited for more about Argentina!

Home is where your heart is. It’s always good coming home after a long time. Ok, three weeks aren’t that long. Anyway, I’m always busy when I come home – meet friends, family and other. I’m going to stay only for a couple of days and come back to Munich on Monday again…
Still I can’t believe that spring break lasts two months – no university, no model making and so on. I already miss all my friends who I used to spend every day. Of course, it’s always strange if you don’t see people for a long time… I’ll survive! The weather is wonderful and it’s not so cold in Bolzano. I’ll hope to get it onto the slopes on Saturday. I was told the snow is wonderful. Not gonna miss that! Have a wonderful day!

New experience – macro

Yesterday I received my new lens – a Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM lens. I’m so happy with it and it’s definitely a good investion! Unfortunately I didn’t have time to take a lot of pictures, because I have there are only three days left until my last exam in statics. It’ll be so relieving if all this is over.
I’m already counting the days until Argentinia – 9 days left!
