The Kulm Hotel St. Moritz is the oldest hotel of St. Moritz and also belongs to the Grand Hotel Kronenhof (which I told you more up here). Kulm Hotel St. Moritz has a lot of acitivities going on the whole year, such as the Festival da Jazz, a gourmet festival, golf tournaments (e.g. where we had the BBQ), concerts and a lot more.
Kulm Hotel THE INTERIOR
Likewise the Grand Hotel Kronenhof the hotel is very cozy and mostly mantained in the old way. Heavy curtains and wallpapers combined to cozy armchairs.

Kulm Hotel THE SPA
I cannot imagine the winter holiday here at the Kulm Hotel. They have one large indoor pool combined with an outdoor pool (which is great in wintertimes), which a beautiful view on the St. Moritz lake. Of course, you can book various spa treatments and have a large wellness area .
Kulm Hotel THE ROOMS
The hotel has 172 rooms and suits, whereas prices start at 535 CHF including half-board. We stayed at the Grand Hotel Kronenhof but got a little sneak peek into the president suite. All rooms are completely different and were designed by Italian interior designer. I can definitely see the Italian taste in here!
Kulm Hotel THE RESTAURANT
We had the pleasure to dine twice at one of their restaurants – the Grand Restaurant. They also have four more – the Gourmet Restaurant the K, Chesa Al Parc (where we had the BBQ on Saturday), The Pizzeria and NITO @ the Sunny Bar.
The Grand Restaurant is one huge dining room where they serve a menu every day. As I said, half-board is included therefore you’ll be spoiled each evening with delicious food.
Our menu:
- Poultry consommé Mikado
- Sea bass cutlet with barigoule artichokes
- Grilled lamp chop with couscous, lamb juice and Raz el Hanout, fried potatoes with onions, sauteed courgettes with basil and olive oil
- Champagne soup with berries and strawberry sorbet
Kulm Hotel SWISS NATIONAL DAY
And last but not least, the Swiss National Day. The weekend was great to get dive into Swiss culture. In fact, Switzerland celebrated their National Day on 1st august. The Kulm Hotel St. Moritz decorated the whole Grand Restaurant and build up a huge buffet serving all kinds of Swiss dishes. So delicious! Unfortunately, they had fireworks planend but the woods were way too dry and the fire forest danger too high. All in all, it was a very amusing evening!
Thank you for this wonderful experience!
