Marcel. Marcel is definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Paris. The last time I was there for a brunch (see here) and last week I enjoyed a tasty lunch with my friends. At the weekend it is always extremely busy. While you’ll easily get a table on weekdays. Unfortunately, the brunch is only at the weekends so I had to exchange my favorite œuf bénedict with a savory burger. Accompanied with gratin dauphinois and potato wedges it was dainty! Also the spareribs are to recommend. As dessert we had the mouthwatering apple crumble. They vary the crumbles from time to time, so don’t hesitate to ask which one they have. Bon appetit!

Bars in Paris | Happy Hour at Le Mary Celeste

Le Mary Celeste. It’s been a while now that I enjoyed an after-work with my friends at a bar. In fact, I barely go to bars during the happy hour. Most of the time I am still in university and the only thing I want to do is to go straight home afterwards. Le Mary Celeste is a cute bar in the Marais having a nice interior design. There is also a great cellar on the basement. It is located close to MERCI and Candelaria. So if you are still hungry afterwards, you can head straight to Candelaria, one of the best tacos places in town.

Sunset on Pont Neuf

EN – Sunsets. Can’t believe how was the weekend went by. Saturday, the weather was still great, but it started to rain cats and dogs on Sunday. For once I was glad, that it started to rain as I needed to work as much as possible during this weekend. You can imagine how distracting good weather in Paris is. Especially the great sunsets like on Saturday.
For dinner I took my new BCBGMAXAZRIA shoes out combined with my favorite H&M Trend pants and sequin blazer. To add a little bit more color I need to find a burgundy pair of jeans. But you know – I love nude combinations!

DE – Sunsets. Das Wochenende ist wieder mal ratz fatz vergangen. Am Samstag war das Wetter noch super, hat dann am Sonntag aber umgeschlagen – zum Glück. So war ich nicht von der Sonne abgelenkt und hab versucht so viel wie möglich für mein Endprojekt zu arbeiten. Ihr könnt euch sicherlich gut vorstellen, wie ablenkend das gute Wetter hier in Paris ist. Die Sonnenuntergänge waren einfach nur traumhaft die vergangenen Tage.
Für ein gemütliches Abendessen habe ich meine neuen BCBGMAXAZRIA-Sandalen zusammen mit meinen Lieblingshosen und Paillettenblazer von H&M Trend getragen. Damit ich mein nächstes Outfit mit den Sandalen ein bisschen farbenfroher kombinieren kann, werde ich noch nach einer burgundfarbenen Hose Ausschau halten.

MERCI Concept Store. Finally, I’ve made it to the MERCI Concept Store located in the Marais. It is such a cool spot. If you are in Paris and you are searching for an alternative to Colette, you should definitely head to Merci. They have a great variety of designer pieces, furniture, gadgets and also clothing. To the left hand side there is this great Used Book Café and in the basement of the concept store there is another bar/restaurant.

EN – Cut-out. A long black dress was urgently needed and I found this pretty one on AX Paris – perfect for Friday’s cocktail nights. Every day I fall more and more in love with the Parisian evenings, especially during the Golden Hour. I am filled to the brim with work this weekend and that won’t stop until next week. Only three more weeks of university to go! Wish you a wonderful weekend & more tomorrow!

DE – Cut-out. Endlich habe ich ein schwarzes langes Kleid bei AX Paris gefunden – perfect für die After-work-Cocktails freitags. Seitdem der Sommer gekommen ist, liebe ich es abends durch die Straßen von Paris zu streunen und das Sommerlicht zu genießen. Besonders während der Golden Hour, ist die Stadt einfach nur ein Traum. Am Wochenende habe ich superviel zu tun und auch die kommende Woche. Nur mehr 3 Wochen Uni! Wünsche euch ein schönes Wochenende & mehr gibt’s morgen!
