Capsule Show, Les Docks Paris | 28. – 30.09.2012
CapsuleShow. In between the shows during Fashion Week Conny and I took a look at some collections at Les Docks. This time we focused on accessories and jewelry and discovered some great brands.

Starting with the in South Korea based brand Fleamadonna, whereof I loved the embroidered headbands and bracelets. Their collection focused this season on flower prints, pastel colours and a lot of bling bling. Another Asian brand I loved was Daydream Nation, which is based in Hong Kong. Their designer Kay Wong and Jing Wong created those cool shoes collection, which I definitely want a pair of for spring. I’ve been searching similar ones for a while now.

Coming back to Europe we discovered the London based bag and accessory brand Kzeniya. The handcrafted pieces can be created individually choosing the color of the plastic details or leather. The layering of the perspex pieces in combination with asymmetric shapes makes the collection outstanding. Can I please have one of these?

Switching overseas to New York we met the people behind Chrishabana, which had some of my favorite pieces. I fell in love with their playful statement jewelry designed with Swarowski elements.

Last but not least I want to present you the beautiful bags from Reece Hudson. We were told that ManRepeller is a good friend of them and carries around their bags all the time. Maybe their bags will be the next blogger bag? As for me, I simply love the delicate design made out of different materials and individual styles. There is a model for every taste.

I hope you liked the various brands and more of my life in Paris soon here on the blog – à bientôt!

Thank you all so much for your sweet birthday wishes! This means a lot to me!

Turning 21 today

21. {Finally} I am of legal age in America too and I am curious what my 22nd year of life brings along. My mom always used to make me the coolest birthday parties with having a clown for example and not to mention the best birthday cakes. And creative as she is I had a Nutella bread cake on my 5th birthday. How cool is that? My birthday has come so soon and I didn’t even think of my birthday wishlist this year. But right now I am just happy to spend the evening with a couple of friends here in Paris. And for my next birthday I definitely need to shoot a new crazy birthday shoot with Bastian. It has already been two years since we took them. Still, I love the pictures so much!

The last day of summer with Hoss Intropia

HossIntropia. I am back from a beautiful weekend in Normandy. France has definitely beautiful places outside of Paris. Before I will show you my impressions from the cute places I’ve visited I wanted to share with you these LAST pictures taken some time ago. Although the dress is from Hoss Intropia’s Fall/Winter collection you can easily wear it through all seasons. Therefore, I will style it differently another time for you guys and adapt it to a more winterly look. By the way, tomorrow is my birthday. It’s come around so soon…

Fashion Week Paris – Allude | 03.10.2012

Allude. Fashion Week ended with Allude’s show where snapped some pictures behind the scenes for you before the show. The designer Andrea Karg believes in cashmere for all seasons. For spring/summer 2013 soft cashmere combined with strong lines, classy elements with sporty details are going to expect us. The whole collection was made for the modern-day Parisian woman!
You can find {almost} all the shows I attended this season here.

Allude.

Jacquard pants and some feathers

Jacquard. My loves, what a crazy week! I hope you enjoyed my posts from shows. In fact, there is only one more left. Here is another look during fashion week wearing my wonderful vest from the new Hallhuber Collection compared with a pair of purple jacquard pants – definitely an eye catcher! Those last week’s warm days are over now and I stowed all my summer stuff away. Finally I can wear my fur pieces and boots again…  I am off to university and back to the „real“ life :)
More of my life in Paris soon here on the blog – à bientôt!Jacquard.
