Hotel Café Royal. Those of you who’ve been following me on Instagram saw that I spent the last two days in London with Primark. Right now I don’t even know where to start with all the impressions. Nothing better than to start with food.

Not only did we have the honor to stay at the beautiful Hotel Café Royal at Piccadilly Circus but also try their festive menu. We started with a marinated Loch Duart salmon with sweet mustard and quails egg and a carpaccio of Denham Estate venison with chocolate marshmallows and parmesan. Followed by the delicious main courses like wild mushroom, spinach and truffle open lasagne & braised Angus beef and grilled Sirloin. Everything really delicious! To conclude we had Baylands Tiramisu and Emphasis on Mandarin! You can imagine how full I was afterwards.

Christmas Shopping at Ingolstadt Village

EN – ChristmasShopping. Last week I was invited together with Irina, Sandra and Fanning to Ingolstadt Village for a Pre-Christmas-Shopping. Together with Wertheim Village both outlet villages are part of the Chic Outlet Shopping Villages. I’ve already been to both villages and love Ingolstadt Village a lot which is closer to Munich. Also, there are always further reductions in the stores. Therefore, you should definitely sign up for their newsletter for staying updated.

My personal highlights are the Jimmy Choo pop-up store, which is already open since this summer. Moreover, I really like the Coccinelle-, Rituals– and WMF-store. Currently, they also have a Röckl and Swarovski Pop-Up Store.

But this time I really tried to buy only things which I urgently need. After buying two cooking tops, one pan and a potato masher my kitchen was really happy about this bargain. After all this we had to get us a delicious mulled wine and a crêpe which I haven’t eaten in such a long time.

Reinvigorated the evening charity book event was about to begin. Under the theme ‘Step into the Story’ Ingolstadt Village and Wertheim Village published books where 13 German celebrities designed one page around Christmas. The proceeds will be donated to UNICEF‘s project ‘Schools for Africa’. Furthermore the Ingolstadt Village donated 5€ for every Instagram picture taken with the hashtag #IngolstadtVillageCharity on that day. Of course, we posted all day long!

Thank you Ingolstadt Village Team for the invite and for the lovely day!

EN – Christmasinspiration. The old town in Munich is already so beautifully decorated and tomorrow we can finally light the first candle on our advent wreaths. Until Christmas I’ll show you a few Christmas & New Years Eve look inspiration posts. Starting off with the first one here – I am wearing a swing dress by Asos and black suede boots with glitter heel from Duo. Add some jewellery if you like – on Christmas it can be more sparkling than in daily life!

DE – Weihnachtsinspiration. Die Alstadt in München ist schon so schön weihnachtlich dekoriert und morgen können wir auch schon die erste Kerze auf dem Adventskranz anzünden. Bis Weihnachten zeige ich euch ein paar festliche Looks und vielleicht kann ich dem einen oder anderen helfen seinen Weihnachtslook oder Silvesterlook zu finden. Hier kommt auch schon der erste – ich trage ein Swing-Kleid von Asos und dazu ein paar schwarze Wildlederstiefel mit Glitzerabsatz von Duo. Wenn ihr mögt, könnt ihr noch ein paar Accessoires hinzufügen – an Weihnachten darf es ja auch ein bisschen mehr sein!

ISSES. So many new burrito-restaurants have opened in Munich in the past years. You’ll always find one around the corner where you can get a classic burrito with lots of rice and meat – unfortunately to-go most of the times or the restaurant doesn’t welcome to linger. Also, some of them lack in quality and creativity. Therefore, I was looking for something new.

Lately, I’ve been testing ISSES in the heart of Schwabing in Munich. I highly recommend it to all the burrito lovers who are looking for diversity and great quality. From the outside it may look like an underground club that you could place in London or any other big city, but as you get to the bottom you’ll find a cozy restaurant. To the left there is a cocktail bar where you can have a drink while waiting for your table. When passing through one of the arches you’ll find a bigger dining room divided into three.

On the menu you’ll find a great variation and creative versions of burritos. Normal ones were too boring so they invented i.e. a winterspecial with goulash from deer, red cabbage, chestnut cream and cranberries – let’s call it a Bavarian burrito. The owner Moritz Meyn also recommended a veggie burrito with spinach, cheese and a touch of India. Both of them were a bit spicy but so delicious! To top this excellent dinner off we had two margaritas along that they prepare with crushed ice.

The atmosphere is cozy and hip. And who thought that this cellar was once without windows. In fact, it took the owner a lot of time together with friends to break through walls and get the restaurant look the way it is now. But it was all worth it. They’ve been open for four weeks now and it is definitely a good place for meeting with friends! Have a look yourself!

A loft(y) evening with Samsung

EN – Loft. Last week Samsung invited to a loft(y) evening to present some of their newest products. It is already the second time that a company rented a private flat for holding an event. The atmosphere is so much more relaxed! They introduced us to a few products which would make our homes smarter – beginning with a washing machine that you can control with your mobile phone up to a vacuum robot cleaner.
An evening without dinner wouldn’t be complete and Gesellschaftsraum‘s catering served some delicious dishes. I definitely need to check out the restaurant for my FoodFriday!

DE – Loft. Vergangene Woche lud Samsung zu einem netten Abend in einem Luxusloft in München ein. Es ist schon das zweite Mal in Folge, dass eine Firma eine Privatwohnung für ein Event anmietete. Finde ich super! Im Laufe des Abends wurden uns Technologien vorgestellt, die das Zuhause smarter gestalten – von der Waschmaschine, die man über das Handy bedienen kann, bis hin zum Staubsaugroboter. Alles ist heutzutage möglich!
Im Anschluss gab es ein leckeres Dinner vom Catering des Gesellschaftsraum. Ich muss jetzt auch unbedingt Mal das Restaurant besuchen. Ruft nach einem Foodfriday!
