EN – Lifting. Usually you’ll connect lifting automatically with nipping and tucking. But this topic has nothing to do with such brutal treatments. Have you ever heard about eyelashes-lifting? Maybe some of you have already tried an eyelash perm out, which is a similar technique. Some days at the pressdays here in Munich I discovered this great method – eyelash-lifting. The Germany based company Augenmanufaktur is specialized on this special treatment and I was curious to try it out.

The technique works differently than eyelash perm, which simply curls your lashes. Instead it works with a more efficient method and pulls your lashes straight up. As a result your lashes seem longer and fuller. The treatment takes around 40 minutes and should last for 6-8 weeks.
At the beginning I was a bit skeptical as it looked quite brutal on the women that was treated before me, but it doesn’t hurt at all. After 40 minutes my lashes were longer, dyed and fuller. At first sight I was a bit shocked, because my lashes looked a bit like fake lashes giving that my natural lashes were already really long and curled. Moreover, I needed to get used to that they nudge my upper eyelid a bit. Right now I am super happy and don’t even need to mascara my lashes anylonger.
