Sequinsleeves. I found some pretty good stuff here in Paris, such as this parka with sequin sleeves. Especially do I love the stores around Marais and this fancy one I found in the Rue St. Denis, where a lot of wholesale stores are located. I don’t even know if I was entitled to buy something at the store where I found this jacket as there were many more to which I was not admitted. It is a pity, because they offer such nice things. On the other hand, good for my wallet. Furthermore I found these velvet heels at H&M the other day and they are so comfortable (ok, only for two hours – I am not used to wear heels anymore). But I definitely need to walk more in those such heels, if I want to survive the upcoming fashion week. Happy Monday!!

Paillettenärmel. In Paris kann man super shoppen gehen, so habe ich diesen tollen Parka in der Rue St. Denis gefunden. Allerdings befinden sich in der Straße fast nur Großhandelsgeschäfte und man wird sofort aus den Läden komplimentiert, wenn man Einzelstücke kaufen will. Ich weiß gar nicht ob ich berechtigt war, in dem ich die Jacke fand. Es ist wirklich schade, weil die Läden wirklich tolle Sachen und vor allem genialen Schmuck haben. Diese tollen Samtheels habe ich auf Empfehlung von Conny noch bei H&M noch ergattert. Für H&M-Verhältnisse sind sie wirklich sehr bequem (na gut, nach einer Stunde waren sie es dann nicht mehr, weil ich es einfach nicht mehr gewöhnt bin, hohe Schuhe zu tragen). Eigentlich müsste ich so langsam wieder damit anfangen welche zu tragen, sonst überlebe ich die Fashion Week in einer Woche nicht. Wünsch euch einen schönen Montag!

Peplum. Getting up in the morning at 6:30 is definitely inhuman. But as university life hasn’t started yet I could do it at least once. Said and done. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t that good in the morning, when I biked in the rain to the Eiffel Tower. Luckily enough, it is only a 15 minute ride from my place and the sun showed up a little bit later. The best thing about getting up early is that nobody disturbs you. The aim of this morning was shooting my first trial of a time-lapse movie. So that was me – sitting there and doing it manually with my remote control one by one almost every 6 seconds (such a timer would have come in handy). And now these over 300 pictures need to be cut. As soon as I am finished I will show you my result. Since I got a lot of great feedback for my new pants – here is another outfit combined with a tulle peplum top.

LePort. As I am exploring Paris bit by bit we came along the Bassin de l’Arsenal accidentally. It is located right next to the Place de la Bastille and a nice place to have a walk along or to have a chat or picnic on the green spaces aside. Regarding my outfits I am keeping them simple with at least one glitter piece (daily dose of sparkle). Especially, 3/4 of my wardrobe is still at home. LePort. Nach und nach entdecke ich die schönen (nicht touristischen) Seiten von Paris, so auch den Bassin de L’Arsenal. Da wir bei der Place de la Bastille vorbeigekommen sind, sind wir an diesen tollen Ort gestoßen. Ich, als großer Hafenfan, werde da immer vom Fernweh gepackt. Mein Outfits bleiben ein bisschen einfacher und gemütlicher (natürlich muss mindestens ein Glitzerteil dabei sein – ich brauche meine tägliche Ration an Glitzer). Vor allem sind einfach mal dreiviertel meines Kleiderschrankes zuhause. Das Wetter war einfach nur perfekt in den letzten Tagen mit Temperaturen bis zu 30°C – unglaublich für September… Mehr von meinem Leben in Paris gibt es beim nächsten Mal – à bientôt!
