Pastificio Tosatti – Italian restaurant in Prenzlauer Berg
Those of you who are following my food recommendations will know that I’m probably the worst person to recommend Italian restaurants out of Italy. On the other hand, all of my German friends love Italian food. A close friend of mine was in town and I’d asked Nadine and Alice where to go. Both replied at the same time – Tosatti! That must be a good sign.

Pastificio tosatti
Located in the heart of Prenzlauer Berg you’ll easily find the Pastificio Tosatti. Yeah, pastificio because they also make their own pasta, which you can also buy. A restaurant, which makes its own pasta is already very rare to find and a good sign of quality. The restaurant itself is super small and has only place for about 15 people. Luckily, I’d booked a table before (which you can do via email – wohoo digitization!).

FOOD & DRINKS
The menu consists of three antipasti and six pasta dishes. We tried two bruschette with stracciatella and cherry tomatos (3,50 each). I’ve become quite a fan of stracciatella cheese, which is so good. The antipasto was fresh and delicious, which went really well together with my glass of red wine. Alice had already recommended the Tagliatelle al Ragù alla Bolognese (8,50€), which is always one of my favorites too. I went for the Ravioli filled with porcini, button mushrooms, ricotta (13,00€). Both of the main dishes were really good.

RÉSUMÉ
I would definitely come back. The atmosphere is laid back and cozy. I’m a huge fan of smaller restaurants and Pasticio Tosatti is definitely a great address. Thank you Alice & Nadine for the recommendation!
