Berry pineapple smoothie. As you can see I’m sharing more and more recipes up here on the blog. Good food and drinks take up such a great part in my life that it can’t be missed up here. A couple of recipes are already online (around ten in nearly six years of blogging aren’t a lot). However, I think I will mainly focus on healthy meals and especially Southtyrolean kitchen!

Berry coconut yoghurt pineapple smoothie

Last week I revealed my love for that plain coconut yoghurt, which I used for my breakfast quinoa. Moreover, I’m drinking smoothies nearly every single day. Most of the times I just put in what I think will go together. This berry pineapple smoothie is an alternated version of the one Cassie posted in my fitness plan. Apparently it’s the best smoothies for working out and adding flakes replaces a meal.
A good friend of mine came over a couple of weeks and I made us some of those delicious smoothies (containing yoghurt aren’t they lassies then?). We enjoyed them in the sun and it was just a great afternoon. The smoothie will probably remind me of it every time I’ll make it. The last time I put less frozen blueberries in it, which made them less purple.

By the way, my pineapple cutter is one of the best kitchen tool I’ve ever bought. Make sure to get one in steel, which is more stable and doesn’t absorb any smell with the time!

Wish you a wonderful day!

this post is only available in German!

Gewinnt 15.000€.

Also schaut unbedingt vorbei!

Brasserie Colette by Tim Raue. It is true, now and then I am longing for Paris. It is already two years ago, that I passed an Erasmus year in Paris and I am missing many things, whereas others I do not miss at all. The awesome choice of restaurants is definitely something I miss. Luckily enough Munich has a big variety of French eateries. This time we tried a French brasserie Colette in the Glockenbachviertel. The weather could not have been more appropriate for having a French lunch at the Brasserie Colette in a blue mood. Outdoors it was rainy and indoors reigned a homely ambiance.

Brasserie Colette

Brasserie Colette has just opened in December. At that time the place was very crowded, delicious canapés were served, and I passed some nice hours in company of a girlfriend. At the lunch I could finally see the whole interior in all its glory. I’m a huge fan! My boyfriend was reminded of an old waiting hall at a French trainstation. The heave carpets on the floor and heavy marble tables made it cozy again.

We arrived around 12:30 and the restaurant was filling very quickly. Next to us there were seated three elder guests, who apparently had already eaten several times there. In front of us a French family from Munich with children were sitting, and some couples had occupied the tables near the windows. A potpourri of young and old people. The neighboring retirement home Tertianum Premium Residences shares its kitchen with the Brasserie. Hence the Terianum residents may enjoy their meals either at the Tertianum Restaurant or at the Brasserie Colette.

Brasserie Colette the food

We enjoyed our lunch to the fullest and it’s been a while that my boyfriend and I have been on a proper date. I took mainly meat-dishes, while he went for the fish ones. As a starter I chose the beef tatar with poached egg and N. took the marinated salmon with grapefruit and chervil. Both dishes were really delicious and the toasted bread along went really well with the tatar. At the adjacent table they had ordered steak et frites and I was a little upset having ordered the wrong main course. Next time I will certainly order the steak. I went for the poulet en croute, which is a traditional dish that I haven’t eaten in a long time. Really heave, though! What I missed were a little bit more fresh sides but all in all it was good. The lobster my boyfriend chose looked delicious but I found the portion really small. As sweet finale I could not resist taking the Crêpe Colette, which was really very delicious. The Crêpe Colette was just too good. I love beurre salé in crêpes so much, not a fan of the normal one, though. N. ended with a variaton of cheese – so French!

The prices are definitely in the higher range. What we missed were some sorts of menus for lunch. For example in France they offer entrée + plat oder plat + dessert, or a whole menu a lot of times. I think something like this doesn’t exist in Munich. All in all, I loved the whole ambience a lot and I will definitely come back on a special occasion.

Sequin jacket. It’s been a little bit more quiet up here last week so it’s time for a new look up here. There are certain pieces that have been hanging for years in my wardrobe but I rarely worn them. Most of the times they are super special and not made for daily life. But I simply can’t give them away. Same with this gorgeous sequin jacket from Holy Ghost, which I bought in the sample sale a couple of years ago. It’s too beautiful to give away and I will try to wear it more often this spring!

Wish you a wonderful day!

February recap. At the end of the month it’s time for my monthly review. This month I had my last exams and some work to hand in. But I was so looking forward to March, which made it pass even quicker. While January was super busy with university work, February was quite calm and I could get back to my beloved blogging work.

Monthly favorites WORKOUT

I’m a huge Blogilates-fan and came across Cassies’s videos years ago but at a point I stopped. No excuses for February! I started with the Blogilates WO-calendar and was good as gold to stick to the daily work outs. I did three weeks in a row and had to skip the last week because of our house moving. But today is the last day and I think I will start over with the new month. This month it will even more difficult to stick to the plan as I will travel a lot but we’ll see. Cassie has also launched a new PIIT plan, which is kind of the Kayla Itsines-HIIT-Program for Pilates lover. Maybe I will give it a go!

Moreover, I had a great training session Running & Yoga with Adidas in cooperation with their latest sports collection. It was as lot of fun and I’ve never done Yoga before. However, it’s not my kind of sports and the training session was super long. I prefer short workouts ways better!

Monthly favorites RECIPES

At the beginning of February I started to make some meal plans. I was fed up with random food buying at the supermarket. Moreover, my list of recipes is super long, which is why I try to cook new dishes each week now. Up to now it worked really well and I will publish my food-plan soon!
My favorite recipes this month were:

Monthly favorites BOUGHT

I haven’t bought much in February. I tend to buy lots of things on Amazon, which included lots of super foods this month (new pack of Chia seeds, Chinoa and more). One of my favorite buys was the golden cutlery from Broste Copenhagen, which has arrived yesterday. I’m already so in love with it!

Monthly favorites SEEN

Have I watched anything? Not much. How come that I don’t watch any movies anymore? Probably because my boyfriend’s and my taste is so different that we rarely watch movies together. However we’ve watched Les Visiteurs 1 & Les Visiteurs 2 recently, which is a funny comedy from the 90s. A classic in France! Super funny and something to watch on a lazy Sunday! I need to make a movie-watch-list for this month!

Monthly favorites PLANNED – TRAVEL

I’ve already let you know that I will travel a lot this month but have never revealed where I’ll head to. *drumroll* First of all, I’ll spent a weekend in Rome with my boyfriend and to Paris the weekend after. From Paris I’ll fly to Barcelona for four days with two of my best friends (I’ve never been!!!) and Vienna for Easter to visit my brother. I can’t wait and if anybody has recommendations for these destinations! Please let me know!

Wish you a wonderful day!
