When you’ll enter the fast food restaurant (fast food sounds so derogative) it’ll get you immediately into a Mexican vibe. The have a great selection of burritos, tacos, quesilladas and salads with 5 different types each. At the counter you can also select how spicy you’d like your meal, we took 2 and 3. My boyfriend tried one of the burritos and I got three different tacos. The ingredients were very good with lots of spices (luckily I didn’t take spicier). All in all I can highly recommend it be it for the food such as for the lovely interior.
See yourself!

Since I’ve been working super hard this month I decided to get myself a few new pieces for autumn. I’ve been browsing through the online stores for hours last week and came across some lovely stuff. One among them is this wonderful pied de poule fringe cape from Manila Grace, an Italian brand which you definitely have a look at here. They have so many great ponchos and capes. Moreover, my love for jeans with details returned and found these cool ones from Pimkie (usually I would never enter that store but online they looked so pretty). Unfortunately, you can’t see the detail of my new Monki top so well, which I’ll show you in a separate post. You see – my inspiration is definitely back and I hope you like this autumn look!
Wish you a wonderful day!

#thegoldenbunontour | Widder Hotel – a 5* stars boutique hotel in Zurich

Widder Hotel THE ROOMS
The hotel has 34 rooms and 15 suites all decorated and designed differently. When I entered my room I immediately spotted the lounge chairs from Charles Eames, which I fell so in love with in green. In fact, the hotel director Jan Brugger has a great passion for designer classics. You’ll find much more furniture from Le Corbusier, Mies van der Rohe, Eileen Gray and many more in the hotel.
I got one of their single rooms facing the Rennweg with a cute balcony. And how amazing is that canopy bed? I slept so well and the cuscions were super soft – it was a dream. The room was super clean. In fact, the room service passed twice a day – one time in the morning for a general clean up and later on in the day to arrange the bed ready for the night and to clean up the bathroom one more time (which is absolutely needless but common in luxury hotels). The mini bar was included, which is definitely great and fresh water and some fruit were refilled every time.
Widder Hotel THE BREAKFAST
I’ve already written about the Restaurant– Boucherie AuGUst in my Foodfriday post this week, where they also serve breakfast. I can only repeat myself and I am all over the interior of this place. But let’s talk about the breakfast…
Next to à la carte they have a great variety of fresh bread, croissanterie, fresh juices (try the homemade ice tea!!), charcuterie, cheese, fruit and cereals. Everything what you’ll desire! Since I am such a poached eggs fan I was happy to spot three variations on the menu. On the first day my hunger was bigger than my belly and I went for Œuf Bénédict (poached eggs with ham and sauce hollandaise on a muffin toast) and a salmon bagel. Both so good! Luckily, Helena finished the other half of my bagel. The croissants were cross from the outside and soft inside as they should be. Nothing more to add!

Julia and my breakfast arrangement – omelett, fresh fruit, croissant, salmon bagel & poached eggs with ham
Widder Hotel THE EXTERIOR
We had our aperitif on the Widder Hotel‘s lovery terrace on the first day (more pictures below). During all three days it was always super sunny and the terrace looked even more beautiful. I fell so in love with the blue hydrangeas and the cute succulent arrangement.
Widder Hotel THE FOOD
Let’s get to my favorite point – the food. Our aperitif started already really deliciously with an appetizer place. My favorite was definitely the foie gras and spring rolls with jam.
Afterwards we got an insight into the cocktail world. In fact, the hotel has the second largest whiskey collection in whole Switzerland offering more than 400 types. Moreover, their cocktails are inspired by old movies.

#fitchallenge | finding the perfect (Oktoberfest)-bra with Triumph

Amourette
You can’t believe how many great models they have – if it fits! Of course, on the Oktoberfest you also need the perfect decolletée. In fact, our target of the day was to find the perfect bra under your dirndl, which we’ve tested on the funfair rieds at the Oide Wiesn.
Best is to get your size right first. Did you know that 76% of all woman wear the wrong bra size, which can cause horrible pain. Moreover, I didn’t know that socalled cross sizes would exist, i.e. when you got 75B and the bra isn’t available you can also wear a 80A or 70C. Find more about these sizes here.
In the end I found the perfect bra for the Oktoberfest – the beautiful Amourette! With our new bras we drove to the Wiesn to test their quality.

with Verena on the “Calypso”
Last but not least we ended up at the Schützenzelt. It was such a great day and thank you to the whole Triumph-Team!
Enjoy your last Oktoberfest-weekend!
