Le Castiglione. Since I’ve moved to the 1st arrondissement I haven’t tried out a lot of restaurants close to my place. A while ago I had a lovely dinner with my parents at Le Castiglione, which is a cozy café/restaurant on the Saint Honoré-Faubourg. The interior design is really french but the food was French/American. In my opinion it is a little bit overpriced. Still, the classic entrecôte was delicious. With a burger you can never go wrong, whereas I definitely had better ones in London. All in all, a nice restaurant for a lovely dinenr in the 1st Arrondissement.

A new crochet dress

EN – PlaceSaint-Sulpice. This is one of my favorite squares in my old neighborhood Saint-Germain des Près. Even though it is just a ten minutes ride over the bridge I really miss walking home through the lively quartier on my way back home. On the weekends the square is totally crowded and usually you find various markets. I’ve shown you some pictures from the fleahmarket a while ago (find it here). Saint-Germain des Près itself is quite chic and this is just the perfect crochet dress for a cozy brunch or lunch. Finally, it is the perfect weather for sitting outside at Ralph’s, which is still on my to-do-list.

DE – PlaceSaint-Sulpice. Ein weiterer Lieblingsort in meiner alten Nachbarschaft in Saint-Germain des Près. Auch wenn es jetzt nur zehn Minuten mit dem Rad ist, vermisse ich es manchmal auf meinem Nachhauseweg durch das belebte Viertel zu schlendern. Am Wochenende ist der Platz ein Treffpunkt um gemütlich durch den Flohmarkt zu schlendern (davon habe ich euch schon hier Bilder gezeigt). Saint-Germain des Près ist sehr chic und dieses schöne Spitzenkleid ist einfach nur perfekt für einen Brunch oder Mittagessen. Das Wetter ist jetzt auch perfekt um endlich mal ins Ralph’s zu gehen, das schon so lange auf meiner To-Do-Liste steht.

Le Comptoir General. This is probably one of the coolest spot in Paris and also a great spot for a brunch le dimanche. It is located near the Canal Saint-Martin, whereof I’ve already shown you my recommendation of Hôtel du Nord. Le Comptoir Général is a culture centre including a restaurant, bar, cinema, theatre and a small bookshop on the upper floor. This is definitely one of my favorite bars and a must-do whenever you are in Paris.

EN – Pont des Arts. While Paris turned into grey again I provide you some sunshine from a wonderful day in Paris shooting with Tiziana. For the wonderful Pont des Arts I chose this supercute dress from Jones + Jones combined with my current favorite vintage jacket and a pair of red heels from Deichmann. My roommate discovered these gorgeous dresses from Jones + Jones and I am in love with almost every single one – reasonable price and a really good quality. DE – Pont des Arts. Nach einem wunderschönen Sonntag ist Paris wieder grau wie immer. Daher zeige ich euch heute noch ein paar schöne Impressionen auf der Pont des Arts, die ich mit Tiziana geschossen habe. Passend zum Wetter, habe ich dieses schöne Kleidchen von Jones + Jones kombiniert mit meiner neuen Lieblings-Vintage-Jacke und roten Heels von Deichmann ausgeführt. Meine Mitbewohnerin hat vor einiger Zeit diese süßen Kleidchen von Jones + Jones entdeckt und ich hab mich sofort in sie verliebt. Sunday at Parc des Buttes-Chaumont

EN – Sunset. I will never get tired of the sunsets in Paris – no matter in which district you are. Summer has finally arrived and it was hot enough to wear a light dress without tights. I didn’t expect it to be that hot during the day and we were sweating away at Parc des Buttes-Chaumont. Also, there was a little bit of festival feeling at the parc, which was totally overcrowded – I’ve never seen it before like that. We are having our own Coachella here, don’t need to be in California. I wish you a wonderful day & more of my life in Paris will be up here soon – à bientôt!

DE – Sonnenuntergang. In Paris sind mit unter wirklich die schönsten Sonnenuntergänge – egal wo man sich gerade in der Stadt aufhält. Der Sommer ist endlich da und es war so warm, dass ich nicht mal Strumphosen anziehen musste und in ein leichtes Sommerkleid geschlüpft bin. Ich habe einen schönen Tag im Parc des Buttes-Chaumont verbracht und zwischendrin kam schon das Festival-Feeling etwas hoch. Der Park war völlig überladen, aber zum Glück haben wir noch ein freies Plätzchen gefunden. Wir feiern unser eigenes Coachella hier.
