I was shortly back in Munich last week. Perfect to meet up with my dear Olga and her daughter, but also to test a new restaurant. In fact, I was craving for something super healthy and found the Rebella Bex Cafe – yoga & vegan in the heart of Munich. Alright, vegan isn’t always super healthy, but the dishes on the menu were indeed very healthy.
Vegan cafe REBELLA BEX in Munich
The vegan Rebella Bex Cafe in Munich lies a bit hidden in a calm courtyard on the street Sonnenstraße (entrance is on the right side, if you’re standing in front of Alnatura). The interior is modern and rustic. Moreover, there’s plenty of space outside on the terrace. It’s perfect for a quick lunch or a cozy meet up with a friend for some coffee or homemade lemonade.
Rebella BexFOOD & DRINKS
As I said, you’ll find delicious daily dishes. One of the main dish is their Buddha Bowl filled with 10 different sorts of vegetables and rice. The toppings with cereals, raw food salads, sprouts, tofu & tempeh, vegan burgers, vegan Mayo, fruits and various homemade dips & sauces change daily. A big bowl costs 9,80€ and a small one 6,50€. The bowl is very delicious and I highly recommend it. As for me, I took one of the delicious wraps (4,50€). I could’ve eaten another one right away. So delicious! Unfortunately, wraps are way too small in restaurants in general.
They offer hot and cool drinks. I tried their matcha-mango-ice tea (3,90€), which I highly recommend.
For all matcha lovers: Rebella Bex also has a matcha latte! woohoo!
Moreover, you’ll find the famous golden milk on the menu. The hot milk with curcuma will be a hit this winter. I’m sure!
Rebella BexBREAKFAST TIP
The vegan cafe in Munich offers also some delicious breakfast dishes, such as pancakes with maple syrup and fruits (6,90€), a healthy granola bowl (6,90€) and a tofu scrambled egg (7,90€) on weekends.
All in all, I really loved the Rebella Bex Cafe and I would definitely come back many times.

What’s better than spending a Monday outside of the office in the nature? I’ve been getting more and more lazy during the last few months, so I started to do some sport regularly – Kayla’s Bikini Body Guide, 2-3 x per week mountain biking, and I plan to go hiking at least once. Puh, quite a burden. But, if I start something, I will do it (hopefully at least).
Hiking to the lakeKRATZBERGERSEE
I met some friends for a hiking tour to the lake Kratzbergersee last Monday. You can start either from Merano or from the valley Val Sarentino. The hike from Merano is quite easier.
We started from San Genesio, where we took the bus to Falzeben. From there, you can take a cable car up to the mountain station. Sporty people can take the hike under the cable car. Otherwise, you can use the cable car that starts directly from Merano up to the Pfiffinger Köpfl, which is the mountain station of Merano 2000. Did you know that the E5 European long distance path passes the Kratzbergersee?
Tip! We loved the Alpine Bob as children. You can rush with the outdoor roller coaster into the valley for 4€.
We arrived at the lake Kratzbergersee after app. 2 hours. The lake is located at the steep western ridge Sarntaler Westkamm and offers a beautiful view. It was quite calm and empty in the morning. Around midday, there were many more people.
brrrr… the water was so cold, but it was very refreshing!
Around 3 pm, we arrived at Falzeben again. I was looking forward to eating dumplings with chanterelles. Hmmm! Unfortunately, I got a sunburn – never underestimate the sun when in the mountains! 50 SPF is a must!

Buongiorno everyone! What a beautiful weather we’ve caught on Sunday – perfectly clear and blue sky. After two rainy days in Germany, I urgently needed a dose of sun. The weather here in Italy is back to sunny. Last week we’d had some really bad thunderstorms, which were quite scary.
Today, I’ve got a new look in quite a different scenario for your. My dad’s friends took out their boat yesterday and we joined the fun. The lake was a little bit wavy, fortunately, we didn’t get seasick. My new H&M dress was perfect for this dolce vita flair at the Lago!

Wow – I’m in a such a writing flow right now that I’m continuing right away with a new post. Researching for Athens, I’ve discovered so many beautiful hotels – some quite expensive and others absolutely not! Here’s a little choice of hip and stylish hotels (some of them also come with a great rooftop terrace).
Coco-Mat Hotel with its Scandinavian flair it is definitely my favourite. The interior is modern and tasteful. The hotel has its own shop and restaurant. The perfect choice for all design lovers!

Athens Green Apartments would’ve been my number 1 choice for our stay in Athens. Unfortunately, it was already fully booked. The clean white apartments are simple but beautiful. And how gorgeous is the small garden?

The boutique hotel The Zillers is located in Monastiraki only in 300 metres distance from the Roman Agora. The design is classic with modern elements. The hotel has a beautiful restaurant & rooftop terrace, The Zillers Roof Garden. The food of the restaurant looks amazing and I will definitely come here for dinner next time. How cozy looks the fireplace?
4* HOTEL THE ZILLERS

The 4* Hotel Fresh Athens is located in Monastiraki. Therefore, the perfect location for sightseeing. The view from the restaurant looks amazing and I’m in love with the pool. When visiting Athens for longer, you should definitely take into consideration to book a hotel with a pool. The rooms look nice and modern.
AthensWAS is perfectly located in the famous Dionysiou Areopagitou street in the heart of Athens. On the 7th floor, you’ll find a great rooftop terrace. The restaurant serves Greek-mediterranean food with a twist of Japanese and French cuisine.

If you’re looking for something more down-to-earth, the Alice Inn is the right choice for you. The cute bed & breakfast is located in the lively Plaka. By the way, you can also book the whole house!
ALICE INN

Last but not least, a very cheap offer for you. I’ve already stayed in great hostels, which sometimes are way better than hotels. City Circus Hostel lies in the lively Psirri. If you don’t want to sleep in a shared dorm, you can also book a double room. Below, there is a stylish restaurant, which we’ve actually passed; it looked very nice.
CITY CIRCUS HOSTEL

June was perfect for visiting Athens. The weather was great and we could sit outside all the time during our meals. Athens offers a great variety of different restaurants, not to mention all those great rooftops.
Here are a couple of suggestions for eating in Athens!
The only good thing of our AirBnB was having discovered the Seychelles Restaurant. It was our host’s favourite one and we couldn’t blame her. The ambience is lovely and they have a small choice of great dishes. We weren’t so hungry and went for some grilled cheese and sardines along with beer & wine.
A rooftop couldn’t be better for a relaxing sundowner. Athens has many great rooftop terraces and we chose A For Athens. The hotel with its rooftop is known for its great location with view onto the Monastiraki square and the Acropolis. The drinks were really good. If you decide to come for dinner here, you should definitely book a table on weekends!
I could definitely live of Gyros pita. But a great souvlaki is a delicious change! We found O Kostas in our guide and were awarded with the best souvlaki in Athens. Even though the queue wasn’t that long, we were waiting quite for a bit. The delicious Souvlaki definitely made up for it. Perfect for a fast and inexpensive lunch. Note: only open until 17:00!
O Kostas Pentelis 5, Athina 105 57, Griechenland
Food-flagship store in Athens Yoleni’s
I took a picture of the façade of YOLENI’S because I loved it a lot. I didn’t know that apparently a great food flagship store with great restaurants hid behind. Given the fact that I’ve got a picture of it, I can also include it in my recommendations. Will try it next time!
Our first choice the IT Restaurant was closed on Sundays. Luckily, Nice N Easy was close by so we stopped there for a nice brunch. The café/restaurant offers everything what the modern brunch heart desires – zoodles with pesto, Oeuf Benedict or pancakes. Everything super healthy of course! In fact, Nice N Easy is one of the few restaurants in Athens, which focuses on very healthy and clean dishes. The terrace outside was full when we arrived but it is lovely inside too. Otherwise, you should book in advance.
By the way, they also have a second dependance on Mykonos!

Café in Athens Little Kook
Little Kook is a fantasy café in the heart of Psyrri. It’s definitely worth a visit for all the fairytale lovers. The prices don’t come very cheap but the experience is unique.
Last but not least, a lovely bar tip called Ble Papagalos, engl. blue parrots. It’s a cozy bar with great music on weekends and delicious cocktails. Make sure to have a look at the interior too! We enjoyed an aperitif on the terrace and let the evening fade away!
