Researching for Athens, I’ve discovered so many beautiful hotels – some quite expensive and others absolutely not! Here’s a little choice of hip and stylish hotels (some of them also come with a great rooftop terrace).

Coco-Mat Hotel

Coco-Mat Hotel with its Scandinavian flair it is definitely my favourite. The interior is modern and tasteful. The hotel has its own shop and restaurant. The perfect choice for all design lovers!

Athens Green Apartments

Athens Green Apartments would’ve been my number 1 choice for our stay in Athens. Unfortunately, it was already fully booked. The clean white apartments are simple but beautiful. And how gorgeous is the small garden?

The Zillers

The boutique hotel The Zillers is located in Monastiraki only in 300 metres distance from the Roman Agora. The design is classic with modern elements. The hotel has a beautiful restaurant & rooftop terrace, The Zillers Roof Garden. The food of the restaurant looks amazing and I will definitely come here for dinner next time. How cozy looks the fireplace?

Hotel Fresh Athens

The 4* Hotel Fresh Athens is located in Monastiraki. Therefore, the perfect location for sightseeing. The view from the restaurant looks amazing and I’m in love with the pool. When visiting Athens for longer, you should definitely take into consideration to book a hotel with a pool. The rooms look nice and modern.

AthensWAS

AthensWAS is perfectly located in the famous Dionysiou Areopagitou street in the heart of Athens. On the 7th floor, you’ll find a great rooftop terrace. The restaurant serves Greek-mediterranean food with a twist of Japanese and French cuisine.

Alice Inn

If you’re looking for something more down-to-earth, the Alice Inn is the right choice for you. The cute bed & breakfast is located in the lively Plaka. By the way, you can also book the whole house!

City Circus Hostel

Last but not least, a very cheap offer for you. I’ve already stayed in great hostels, which sometimes are way better than hotels. City Circus Hostel lies in the lively Psirri. If you don’t want to sleep in a shared dorm, you can also book a double room. Below, there is a stylish restaurant, which we’ve actually passed; it looked very nice.
