Breakfast in Munich | Daddy Longlegs introducing açai bowls

Daddy Longlegs. Like there are trends in fashion they exist in the food section as well. While my instagram feed was mainly overloaded with chia pudding or other trend-food I suppose açai bowls are next. Daddy Longlegs is the only café in Munich which serves the famous bowls.

What is açai?
The açai berry comes from the Brazilian rainforest and grow on açai palms next to the sea. 90% are stone while only 10% are pulp. After they’re harvested they are being pureed and pasteurized and cooled down to -15°C. We benefit from the fruit as it operates antioxidant, it is good for the metabolic fate and human cardiovascular system.

If this may sound a little bit too healthy it is actually delicious as well. At Daddy Longlegs you’ll get the basic açai bowl with cereals for 5,80€ which you can top with fresh fruit and various seeds. Moreover they serve quesadillas and homebaked cakes. The whole café is so lovely and another cool accessory are definitely the swings – swinging on users own risk, though!
