This spot is really to the point regarding my situation before Christmas in past years, as I never had a quiet time. Particularly during the last days before Christmas the university exerted a lot of pressure and, of course, my project had to be presented. After Christmas there was only one month left until it had to be presented.
This year everything should run differently. As I had rendered my master thesis in October, I have been looking forward to enjoying fully this year’s Christmas season. Luckily I had some time left after having done my blogging job. Last weekend I spent with a girl friend at the Tollwood, tonight we will go on a titbit tour through Munich’s Christmas markets, and tomorrow night I will meet my girls for a glass or two of mulled wine. Even the weekend is already fully planned. The beauty about my actual job is its good work-life-balance.

Treuleben The Work Life Planner
Exactly this topic has been picked by the time-honoured enterprise TREULEBEN. This year they have created a very special agenda – the Work-Life Calendar. When I got it in my hands for the first time I had to smirk right away. It is not at all designed like a normal weekly agenda. This marvellous calendar having a fine leather cover and artisan filament linkage focusses on what really counts: leisure time.
For this reason the working days have a much smaller design than the Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. It is my belief that one should only work four days a week. My ideal conception is that Friday should be reserved for appointments with doctors, public offices and the like, without having to take a day off. On Saturdays and Sundays you can devote all your time to friends and the family, go hiking or skiing in the mountains or enjoy life in town or simply have a lie-in.
