Breakfast in Kreuzberg. A wonderful good morning from the capital! Yes, I’m in Berlin one more time. I don’t need to repeat how much choice for having breakfast there is in Berlin. Last week was super intense food-wise and I had to make a little food detox back in Munich. On the other hand, I should do the exact thing here in Munich and also try three different restaurant a day. To be honest, I got quite lazy here as to trying new places. In the end, I’ve got so many recommendations for Berlin, which is enough material for the next weeks. A little change of city isn’t bad for my FoodFridays either. The first night I slept at Amandine‘s and had breakfast in Kreuzberg the day after. Le Bon Café was recommended by a friend of mine and was a great choice!

Le Bon Berlin Food & Drinks
Le Bon is a pure dream for all breakfast-lovers, all day brunch people and savourer! On the menu you’ll find dishes like Shashuka (8,20€), delicious Granola Pancakes (7,8€), moreover Œuf Benedict (8,4€ | which I could eat always). Therefore, our dishes weren’t difficult to choose! One time the pancakes + one time the poached eggs, please! My friend also recommended the Avocado – Lime – 60 Min Egg Open Sandwich (8,80€), which is apparently divine. I need to try that one the next time I’ll visit here. We arrived right after they opened in the morning and the place was nicely empty. Little by little, it got more crowded and around lunch time it is super packed. On the lunch menu you’ll find: a red lentil-coconut-curry (5,20€), panfried Salmon with a kohlrabi celery terrine and Creme Frâiche (9,80€) or sweet potatoes with beetroot and cauliflower along with feta (8,00€). Lunch is served from Wednesday to Friday from 12 – 16 am. On weekends you should bring a little bit of patience as it may be super crowded. Saturdays and Sundays they also offer different Weekend Brunch Specials, such as an Italian Scramble Croissant with hot salami, bacon and rucola (8,50€).
