With a little delay my usual Foodfriday is going online today on Saturday. I was in Munich for short on Wednesday and met up with my dear Olga and her daughter for lunch. We actually wanted to go to So Ham in the Glockenbach. But, as soon as we got there, a new café name popped up – a second Emmi’s Kitchen opened at their place. Maybe the one or other among you know their first café in Rosenheimerstraße.
Cafés in Munich
Emmi’s Kitchen is a cute and playful café. It opens daily from 10 – 17 o’clock. The café offers daily changing vegetarian dishes. The interior is frisky with wooden tables, colorful wallpapers and cozy sitting corners. In the summer, you can also enjoy your drink and food on their terrace.
- The café lies a little bit hidden in a courtyard. You won’t find any signs at the entrance.
FOOD & DRINKS
I’m always happy to discover new healthy restaurants. On the daily menu, there was a delicious soup but also a vegetarian Gulasch. I chose the Healthy Wealthy Salad with different kinds of salads, nuts and goji berries. They serve a delicious farmers bread with it.
The ambience at Emmi’s Kitchen is very nice. It got quite packed during lunch time. I highly recommend having a drink in the afternoon or coming here for a smoothie in the morning. There’s a yoga studio next door. Perfect for having some drinks with your yoga colleagues after a good class.
