Parc de la Chute-Montmorency

EN – Falling waters. The waterfall from Montmorency is around 15km away from Québec City. You can easily get there with bus line 800 from the city center, which takes around 40 minutes. You’ll reach the waterfalls from the top if you go by bus and get your first impressions from the 100m high suspension bridge. Of course, the view only from above was not enough and we climbed all the way down. There are two paths – the stairways and a natural path leading down to the foot of the fall. If you take the natural path you’ll  also have a great view on the Pont De L’Île D’Orléans (picture 8). For a visit to the Parc de la Chute-Montmorency you can calculate half a day. More of my trip tomorrow! DE – Falling waters. Der Wasserfall im Parc de la Chute-Montmorency befindet sich 15km von Québec City. Mit der Linie 800 direkt vom Stadtzentrum gelangt man einfach zu dem Wasserfall; die Fahrt dauert ungefähr 40 Minuten. Man kommt oberhalb der Wasserfälle an und kann die strömenden Wassermengen von einer Hängebrücke bewundern. Natürlich war uns der Blick von oben nicht genug und sind nach nach unten gelaufen. Es gibt zwei Wege – zum einen führen Treppen nach unten und außerdem gibt es noch einen Wanderweg. Beim Wanderweg habt ihr auch noch einen tollen Blick auf die Brücke der Île D’Orléans (8. Bild). Für einen Besuch der Wasserfälle könnt ihr einen halben Tag einrechnen. Mehr von meiner Reise gibts morgen!
