Teppanyaki at Benihana Chelsea. And here comes my very last London recommendation for this year – Teppanyaki at Benihana. We headed down to Chelsea for a supposed lovely dinner. Already at the entrance we could barely breathe due high amount of deep-frying fat in the air. We were promptly seated and ordered some drinks. Fearing that we ordered way too much, we asked the waiter – mistake – if it suffices to order only 3 menus for 5 people. Of course, he suggested to order 5 for 5 people. Then the cooking show started – not as particular as I’ve expected. The food was good and fresh, but there were no special tastes or sauces. All in all, it was a lovely evening, but not worth for its price. We had way too much to eat and spend too much money.
In the end four fried Germans and one Southtyrolean left the restaurant…
