Restaurants in Munich | Koriander Too

KorianderToo. With a little bit of delay here comes the first FoodFriday of the year. My boyfriend’s birthday last week was the perfect opportunity to test a new restaurant. It’s been a while that Koriander Too was appearing on social media and Yelp again and again – I had to try it!

It is quite hard to get a table on Saturdays in Munich without reservation so I’d already booked a table on Wednesday. We were getting a place at the bar for sure, a table as soon as a reservation changes. Luckily we got a table, which is much more pleasant to talk. The interior is clean with wooden furnishing and cool lamps out of cord hanging from the ceiling. On the menu you find Vietnamese dishes – first courses are around 6-12€ and main courses ranging from 12-20€.

I went for Vietnamese ribbon noodles with chicken and my boyfriend took the fish. My dish was good, but a little bit to greasy and nothing special in taste. On the other hand, the fish was really good and the side dishes went really well together. All in all, it was a little bit overpriced.

Koriander Too has a second location, with lower prices, which we’ll be testing soon. We had a little bit the impression that we paid more for the location and ambience.
